Hi Diana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been in the beauty industry since 1978. 10 years ago I decided to change my career and get into medical paramedic and cosmetic tattooing. I more than that I really don’t need to ask for more.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the hardest things is putting yourself out there developing relationship getting to collaborate with professionals to trust you in your work.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
In my profession, having an artistic ability is most helpful in creating some designs. It definitely comes in handy when you’re creating 3-D nipple Areola . most of my time is focused on working on scar imperfections whether it be facelift scars any cosmetic surgery scars I also design and create nipple prosthetics. At the end of the day, I want you to walk away with a smile on your face you never know what the client’s journey is so I’d like to take the time out to listen to what they have to say. Thats when I develop a relationship with them . I think it’s important to make them feel comfortable and to be sympathetic for what they’ve gone through.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Building collaborations and relationships with other professionals is very important in our business. You have to put yourself out there and introduce yourself. That’s the only way you are going to get recommendations and referrals when you start working on clients. I also will let the doctors know that I do some pro bono work. That is a great way to get some clients.
