Hi Dr. Dy’Reshia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Dr. Dy’Reshia Chaplin is a dedicated real estate professional serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area with a passion for helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals. A proud Air Force veteran, Dr. Chaplin served 12 years in the Air Force Reserve and spent 10 years working for the federal government, most recently as a contracting officer. Also, the proud owner of Yoni Queens a holistic small business that provides yoni steaming services and sells natural products for women. Originally opened in Texarkana in 2020. She will be moving it to Dallas soon. After earning her real estate license in 2023, she transitioned to full-time real estate in 2026, combining her strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to service to better serve her community. Dr. Chaplin believes real estate is more than buying and selling homes — it’s about building relationships, creating opportunities, and continuing a lifelong mission of service.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Dr. Dy’Reshia Chaplin’s journey into real estate has been built on resilience, growth, and authenticity. Originally beginning my real estate career in my hometown of Texarkana, I quickly learned that success in the industry comes with challenges, sacrifices, and valuable life lessons. Like many new agents, I faced the trials and tribulations of learning the business, building relationships, and navigating an ever-changing market while establishing myself professionally.
After earning my real estate license in 2023, I took a bold step and spent two years working independently, gaining firsthand experience in entrepreneurship, client service, and personal branding. While working as an independent agent it taught me discipline and self-motivation, it also showed me the importance of collaboration, mentorship, and community within the real estate industry. I recently joined a local brokerage (Local Pro Realty) and became part of a team environment, where I can continue to grow and better serve my clients throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

A proud Air Force veteran with 12 years of service in the Air Force Reserve and 10 years of federal government experience as a contracting officer, she brings discipline, integrity, and authenticity to every client relationship.
Originally beginning her real estate journey in Texarkana,TX, Dr. Chaplin understands the challenges that come with building a career from the ground up. After working independently for two years, she joined a local brokerage team where she continues to grow and serve her community.
One of her proudest accomplishments was earning her doctorate degree in 2023 while raising two children as a single mother. For Dr. Chaplin, that milestone represented perseverance, faith, and the importance of showing her children that anything is possible with determination and hard work. Family remains at the center of everything she does, and her mission in real estate is rooted in serving others with honesty, compassion, and genuine care.
How do you define success?
As a real estate professional and someone who puts God first, I would define success as living with purpose, serving others with integrity, and using the gifts God gave me to make a positive impact. Success is not just measured by accomplishments, titles, or material things, but by the condition of your heart, the people you help along the way, and how your life reflects God’s love.
In real estate, success means more than closing deals — it means building trust, guiding families through important seasons of life, and being a light in every interaction. I believe true success comes from serving people wholeheartedly and allowing God to use your gifts to uplift others and help advance His kingdom.
