Today we’d like to introduce you to Duron Karter.
Hi Duron, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
It all started when I was 8 years old and seen Micheal Jackson on TV and from there I knew I wanted to be in the entertainment industry to inspire all people of all ages and to become a humanitarian and give back to the community as well as the rest of the world.
Over the years I sharpened my craft and signed as a professional male model with DCS Entertainment in 2017 at the age of 25. While still an active duty Paratrooper at 82nd Airborne Div, jumping out of plans by day and doing photoshoots/runway shows and magazine publications by night I balanced the two worlds metaphorically becoming both Tony Stark and Iron Man. Through the grace of God since 2017 I have been in multiple magazine features with 4 front covers, 2 bill boards, 1 runway trophy for Most Charisma and major brand ambassador opportunities including Walmart and Target as well as meet & greets along side other celebrities in the business. I am currently apart of a new TV series releasing soon with my Brand Ambassading team Scrilla Guerilla called Road To Columbia staring fellow proud entertainer’s of color including myself to show the world that music is the universal language and that all cultures and black excellence can coexist.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to succeed is always under construction and learning the business has been very interesting to say the least.. You see the good, the light, the bad and the dark.. I have been told no, not been selected and didn’t win every competition but the key is to survive it all and never give up while still appearing unscaved by it all. Pressure makes a diamond shine bright.

What matters most to you?
My relationship with God, my children and success so that I can inspire and give back to the world. On judgement day I want to look my maker in the eyes with conviction and no doubt that I did my best.
