Hi Jamylla, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I grew up in a small small town but was always a big Dreamer I searched for purpose and meaning everywhere I looked I found art in the most unlikely places I strove to create my life into something meaningful and masterful mistakes were made and help make me into who I am today
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Growing up I was the only person like me and my family both by race gender and sexuality and didn’t have a father and I didn’t see myself in anyone around me or on TV so I felt as though I was an alien which is freeing but also very confining
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I pose i write create and I sing
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was a loner I read a lot of books listen to a lot of songs and watched a lot of old movies my girl without much so when I started to get a little it meant the world
