Daily Inspiration: Meet Prophetess Sraya Fears

Today we’d like to introduce you to Prophetess Sraya Fears.

Hi Prophetess Sraya, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My spiritual journey and relationship with Gd began at twenty-five years old. Life up until that point was full of great pain, trauma, abuse, heartache, and rejection. I didn’t know what it was to be loved, truly loved. I knew I wasn’t a whole and healthy individual. I was wounded and broken. I realized that I carried a lot of baggage and past wounds. I viewed myself as damaged and beyond repair. I was tired of living miserable, so I prayed one day and asked Jesus to come into my life, I’ll never forget that life-changing encounter with God.

After years on intimate time with God, I became the whole woman I am today. After all that heartache and pain, God caused me to give birth to the ministry EmpowerHer Purpose Life, is dedicated to helping the next generation of young girls and women discover who they are in Christ. Through mentorship, teaching, encouragement, faith-based leadership, equipping them to recognize their God-given gifts, strengthening their relationship with God, and stepping into the assignments He has ordained for them. This ministry’s mission is to cultivate a generation of women who are spiritually empowered, purpose-driven, and committed to making a lasting impact for God’s glory in their homes, communities, ministries, and beyond.

The ministry also birthed me into a public figure known as H.E.R I AM. The acronym H.E.R meaning (Holy. Empowered. Revolutionary). I’m known for being called, chosen, commissioned, on fire for God. I inspire girls and women to live boldly for Christ, walk confidently in their calling, and pursue God’s purpose for their lives without fear or limitation.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. Growing up, I experienced abandonment at an early age, and those wounds followed me into many areas of my life. For years, I struggled with feelings of rejection, insecurity, and wondering why the people I needed most were not there. Because of those experiences, I often felt like I didn’t belong anywhere. Whether in relationships, friendships, or even certain environments, I constantly battled the feeling of being an outsider looking in.

The pain of abandonment caused me to question my worth and identity, but it also became part of the journey that shaped my strength, resilience, and faith. Through healing, self-discovery, and my relationship with God, I learned that my value is not determined by who left me. Although the road has been filled with challenges, setbacks, and emotional battles, it has been a testimony of perseverance, growth, and purpose.

Today, I understand that what was meant to break me helped build me into the woman I’ve become today – Called, Chosen, Commissioned, and determined to help other women and young girls discover that they too belong and have a divine purpose.
