Hi Reigna, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
absolutely! I got my first camera on my 12th birthday and was insufferable after that haha. I was the definition of a DIY photographer, learned everything from youtube tutorials. I started dm’ing influencers on instagram to take photos of them and it took off! my husband and i have been doing wedding photography as our full time job since 2022!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely been an interesting journey, but we have learned SO much and have been so grateful to learn from our mistakes. We moved to dallas area the day after we got married in 2021 so starting a new business in a new place was definitely a learning process, but we are so glad we did it!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are published wedding photographers- rooted in elevated authenticity. We are obsessed with capturing couples that are in love! We have built a great social media presence especially on tiktok, and have loved nurturing a super fun community!
we just got back from New york bridal fashion week, we were invited by multiple designers to capture their new collections. it was an honor to be trusted!
What were you like growing up?
I have always been creative, and business driven. I loved wearing bright colors and making people laugh as a child. I would go door to door in my neighborhood and sell things to people, and always ended up with good profit margins lol
you could always find me creating something, whether that was a three tiered cake, a crocheted beanie, or a duct tape wallet- i have always loved the ability to create. I would gather my friends and create “movies” on our ipads and edit in imovie, then force our parents to attend our “premieres”
