Daily Inspiration: Meet Tamia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tamia.

Hi Tamia , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started back in 2023 after dreaming about being successful as a photographer. I never thought about picking up a camera professionally, when I woke up I wrote down my dream and it wouldn’t leave my brain for days. Later on down the line it was brought back to my remembrance that I would always be the go to photo person for people growing up and even in high school. I would create fun edits for my friends with music playing in the background. It also came back to my remembrance when I was 12/13 I remember my Grandma has a camera and I would always have it. This was a full circle moment I didn’t expect to happen.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been smooth because starting my business as a photographer, creative director, marketing specialist, content creator, and content strategist/ social media manager a lot of the times people don’t appreciate all the time we put In and sometimes it can be draining. I will say it’s a struggle bringing life to others ideas because people are consuming more than they create so a lot of times people don’t realize I’m helping them put together a vision and walking them through how they can run with this vision.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a multidisciplinary artist, singer, photographer, entrepreneur, and creative director whose work is deeply rooted in faith, storytelling, and authenticity. I specialize in blending visual art, music, and creative direction to create experiences that inspire people emotionally and spiritually. Whether through photography, performance, branding, or artistic concepts, my goal is always to create work that feels intentional, meaningful, and impactful.
I’m known for my ability to merge creativity with purpose bringing a strong artistic vision while staying grounded in faith and genuine human connection. My work often reflects themes of identity, resilience, beauty, and inspiration, and I take pride in creating art that not only looks good but also moves people and leaves a lasting impression.
What I’m most proud of is building a creative path that stays true to who I am. I’ve been able to evolve across multiple creative disciplines while maintaining a clear voice and message. I’m proud that my work encourages others to believe in themselves, embrace their creativity, and stay connected to something bigger than themselves.
What sets me apart is my versatility and vision. I don’t just approach projects from one angle, I understand how music, visuals, branding, emotion, and storytelling all work together to create a powerful experience. Being faith-based also gives my work a deeper foundation and intention that people genuinely connect with. I bring both creativity and purpose into everything I create.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see the creative industry evolving into a space where authenticity matters more than perfection. Over the next 5 to 10 years, I think audiences will continue moving away from overly manufactured content and gravitate toward artists, brands, and creatives who are honest, intentional, and truly connected to their message. People want to feel something real.
I also see a major shift toward multidisciplinary creativity where music, visual storytelling, branding, fashion, photography, and digital presence all work together as one experience. Artists are no longer just one thing, and creatives who can build worlds around their vision will continue to stand out.
As a faith-based pop creative, I believe there’s also growing space for music and art that inspires without feeling forced or performative. People are searching for hope, purpose, and connection, and I think faith-rooted artistry will continue to impact culture in a fresh and authentic way.
