Exploring Life & Business with D’Asia Dickerson of Overcomer by Faith LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to D’Asia Dickerson.

Hi D’Asia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is D’Asia M. Dickerson, and my journey has not been a walk in the park. Before I became the woman I am today, I had to survive storms that were meant to destroy me. I am a domestic violence overcomer. At one point, I had to jump out of a moving vehicle just to escape my abuser. I’ve walked through deep grief after losing that same abuser to cancer. I’ve battled addictions. I’ve survived multiple car accidents, including one that left me hospitalized for six days and five nights.

I had to go through the process to walk. To walk in purpose, to walk in healing, and to walk in the identity God called me to. Nothing about my journey was instant. I had to grow through what I went through.

My life experiences helped birth my debut book, “The Real Testament: Twelve Poems of Salvation.” That book came from a place of survival, surrender, and transformation. It was the first time I allowed my pain to speak and my purpose to answer.

Today, I use both my life experiences and my educational background to uplift, empower, and guide other individuals. My faith has played a major role in every chapter of my story. Even when life tried to knock me off track, I remained focused on the purpose God placed inside me. I refused to let what happened to me define me. Instead, I let it refine me.

My story is proof that you can rise from anything and that every storm you survive becomes part of the strength you stand on.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. I’ve overcome domestic violence, addiction, grief, and multiple car accidents, including one that left me hospitalized for six days and five nights. Each experience came with emotional and spiritual battles that forced me to rebuild myself from the inside out.

One of my biggest challenges was learning how to heal while still showing up for others. I had to learn balance, boundaries, and how to give myself grace. My faith kept me focused even when life tried to knock me off track.

Every obstacle refined me. Every storm strengthened me. And every struggle became part of the purpose I walk in today.

As you know, we’re big fans of Overcomer by Faith LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business, Overcomer by Faith LLC, is rooted in healing, empowerment, and transformation. As a Life and Mindset Coach, Author, and Speaker, I help individuals, especially women, break cycles, rebuild their identity, and walk boldly in their God given purpose. I specialize in supporting people who feel unseen, unheard, or stuck between who they were and who they are becoming. I am known for leading with authenticity, compassion, and a faith centered approach that meets people exactly where they are.

What sets me apart is that I do not just talk about healing. I have lived it. My journey through domestic violence, addiction, grief, and life altering accidents has shaped the way I serve others. Because of that, my clients know they are not just being coached. They are being understood. I bring real life experience, transparency, and spiritual insight into every space I create, offering a safe environment for people to grow, heal, and transform.

Brand wise, I am most proud of the purpose and honesty behind everything I do. My debut book, The Real Testament: Twelve Poems of Salvation, reflects the heart of my brand. It is a poetic journey from pain to redemption, reminding readers that no matter their past, there is always hope. My work centers on resilience, self love, and spiritual growth.

What I want readers to know is that Overcomer by Faith LLC is more than a coaching practice. It is a movement. My mission is to help people rise above adversity, embrace healing, and step confidently into who God created them to be. Whether through coaching, writing, or speaking, my goal is to empower others to walk in freedom, purpose, and identity.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I would not be where I am today without the people God placed in my life. My grandmother, Brenda, has been one of my biggest supporters. She has prayed for me, encouraged me, and stood by me through every season. Her strength and wisdom have shaped me in more ways than she knows.

I also have a few close friends who have been true cheerleaders on this journey. They have supported my vision, spoken life into me when I felt discouraged, and reminded me of who I am when life tried to make me forget. Their belief in me has pushed me to keep going, keep growing, and keep showing up.

Every person who has poured into me, prayed for me, or encouraged me has played a part in my success and the woman I am becoming. I am grateful for each of them.
