Hi Gloriana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always loved retail and dressing up. I fully believe that if you look good, you feel good and you do good! We all have a power outfit that gives you a little extra boost from time to time. It was with this in mind during the lockdown, that I kept praying about how to channel this passion into something that could help others feel amazing. This is how Shop Dulce was created.
It took a lot of research and listening to podcasts (The Boutique Hub is the best!) and I took the first step. My husband and family have been my #1 fans since day one and because of their encouragement and help, my dream became a reality. Now I get to share some amazing styles, at affordable prices with ladies all over the US!
I also recently I started doing pop-up events throughout the DFW and love meeting my online customers in person and meeting other small business owners from my area. Be sure to follow us to see where the next event will be!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have definitely been some struggles/growing pains along the way, but all lessons learned! I wanted my website to have a certain look, and it took a lot of trial and error to figure out the backend coding (that I did myself, and still can’t believe I got it right, lol). Also, inventory management was a small hiccup in the beginning, because of shipping and supply chain issues. I finally got on a great schedule and now when my new arrivals will come in and can plan much better! Also, social media – the trends continue to change and the algorithms are tricky. This is something I constantly study and try my best to keep up with. Consistency is key!
Most is smooth now, and I continue to learn and grow each day. Luckily, I have surrounded myself with a few other boutique owners that are always happy to help when I get stuck on something!

Shop Dulce was created with the goal of helping women feel good, without having to spend a lot of money. I always look for items that can be styled in a few different ways, that are great quality and affordable. I also offer free shipping always! I never want that cost to turn anyone away from a cute outfit.
I find it essential to have pieces in my wardrobe that I can wear several times, without feeling like I am repeating an outfit. I want every woman that shops at Shop Dulce to be able to look cute without the guilt of having to spend a lot of money on something they will only wear once or twice. I curate looks and select great pieces that are so versatile with this in mind, and it makes me so excited to be able to do this for others!
One of the things I am the most proud of is to be a Latina business owner. I am 100% Costarican and it is important to me to let my fellow Latinas that we can do this! Even better when we do it together!

I grew up in Costa Rica, and my favorite memory is going to the beach with my family. I love the surfing!
