Today we’d like to introduce you to Joshua & Alaric Turner & Kyser.
Hi Joshua & Alaric, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We are a father and son team,I (Alaric Kyser) started my automotive career in 1989 with a Nissan Dealership while attending John Patterson Technical School in Montgomery,Alabama. I worked for Nissan for 17yrs,Christian Brothers Automotive for 9yrs and Sign it Drive it Automotive for 10yrs, I’m a Nissan master technician,ASE master technician with L1 (advanced engine performance specialist) and C1 (automotive service consultant) certifications. We moved to Texas in 2004 where I have helped to build several shops from the ground up as a shop foreman and diagnostic specialist. My son (Joshua Turner) started his automotive career in 2016 with Sign it Drive it Automotive where I was Shop Foreman and he soon became our lead technician where he strived beyond any of our imaginations, his God given gift soared him pass other technicians that had been in the industry for ten plus years. On May 25,2024 while living on the same property, we were hit by a massive tornado wiping out everything that we had,devastated by what had happened! But we stuck together as a family with the help of so many people. Since we had to rebuild from the ground up, I decided to build a large shop without the intention of starting a business, it was Joshua who said after seeing me help build other people’s businesses that he didn’t want to do the same thing and wanted us to start our own business. So January 1, 2025 we started NTX Car Doctors!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not been very smooth, because we started with very little capital. But business is growing fast!

We are a family own business that specialize in all makes and models,gasoline/diesel light trucks and cars. We build relationships with people and educate them about their automobile through honesty and transparency. we strive on being able to fix problems that no one in our area can solve at an affordable price. We offer bumper to bumper repairs,excluding tires and paint and body, Doesn’t matter if you need an engine replaced or a pcm reflashed -we got you covered!
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
We are happy to help others with their automotive repairs when they are struggling financially, because we believe God placed us on earth to help each other.
