Hi Joy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m a Bsc holder in mass communication but I had passion for beauty. I was praying for a good job and I had a dream where I was asked to go learn makeup. I woke up from sleep and was thinking if that was what I really wanted as a career. I have always had the gift of dreaming and I knew I had to obey and I went to enroll in a makeup school. Today I’m so glad I did cos God has always shown up in my beauty business. I have lots of returning clients and referrals and I’ve just launched my makeup line (OGBeauty cosmetics). I know that this is just the beginning for my beauty brand.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The struggle I face mostly is keeping up with social media posting and trend. It’s a bit challenging sometimes cos you have to showcase your work by posting always and sometimes I don’t have the time to do that
