Today we’d like to introduce you to Miriam Escudero.
Hi Miriam, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been working as a graphic designer for the past five years, running my own design studio where I focus on branding and web design. Before that, I trained in international marketing, fashion brand creation, and graphic design, and I also studied business management at university.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the hardest parts of my work hasn’t been the design itself, it’s everything around it. No one really teaches you how to navigate certain client situations, how to structure your time, how to price your services with confidence, or how to actually run a business day to day. It’s something you learn along the way, often through trial and error.
We’ve been impressed with Miriam Escudero Studio, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I specialize in branding for luxury and semi-luxury brands, particularly within the worlds of design, architecture, interior design, fashion, and beauty. I’m also often approached to create bespoke logocrests, wedding invitations, and even custom websites for weddings. Recently, my work has also been featured in Lane Magazine, which was such a special milestone for me.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I’d love to become a true reference in the industry, not just through my work, but also by sharing what I’ve learned along the way. I see myself creating courses, continuing to grow, and eventually building an online shop with resources for other designers. More than anything, I want to inspire people who are just starting out and dreaming of building their own studio. And of course, I want to keep collaborating with established brands and take on increasingly ambitious, high-level projects.
