Today we’d like to introduce you to Tom Jung.

Tom, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I had been a residential realtor for 10 years. We started a youtube channel for folks looking to relocate to the area. In doing so we were walking tons of new homes. I started to notice there were small things that would make homes really stand out but builders weren’t doing them. That’s where Thunder Bunny Co got it’s legs.

The story of the origin of our current product, shower niche lighting, is pretty good. From proof of concept to not realizing people had started buying them. Long story short we spent about 6 months developing the product and really started to market in September of 2025. Growth has been happening so fast we’ve had to pump the breaks to develop systems.

The main idea behind our company is that we are going to take these small things you see in luxury type homes and make them so easy it becomes accessible for the rest of the market.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Of course not. Keeping inventory in stock was an issue. I always thought founders were idiots for running out of product until it happened to me. Shipping was an issue. You don’t really think about how to package things until you need to. Sourcing with tariffs became an issue we had to figure out. Then running ads has become an ongoing learning process. Hiring is our current challenge. Finding good people to work at a startup can be tough.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We sell cool shit for houses. We take the products you see in luxury homes and make them so simple it’s accessible to everyone.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Accent lighting is huge in other countries and is starting to become more popular in the USA. Just that segment alone is predicted to double by 2030. We aren’t just a lighting company but this segment alone is poised for massive growth.
