Exploring Life & Business with William Turner of Living Well With WiL

Today we’d like to introduce you to William Turner.

Hi William, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
“We each have a story. It is who we choose to share it with that makes the difference.” -WiL Turner

Compassion, honesty, trust, loyalty, character, integrity, perseverance and tenacity are the principles unto which I was taught to live by.

To be transparent; my journey from there to here began growing up without a father, and yet still coping with the death of my mother at the age of twelve, of whom sacrificed, love, modeled and nurtured my longing for family, friendship, belonging and compassion for people. Through remembrance of my mother’s strength, prayers, sacrifice and love; having the support of my amazing sisters and closets of friends; I have been blessed to know the true meaning and importance of family, friendship, and community.

As a product of my childhood circumstances; at a very young age I have been driven by my innate ability to relate and genuinely connect with people and to deeply understand their emotional, spiritual, and social struggles. It has been the women in my life who have sacrificed much for me to have a life of which has been truly blessed and fueled by knowing the beauty and blessing of compassion and my duty of service to others.

I come from a lineage of strong, independent, intelligent women who by heritage come from a lineage of caregivers and nurtures, which have directly influenced my purpose, compassion and lifelong service to others as physical health and wellness-prenuer, fitness trainer, educator, youth counselor, inspirational speaker, wellness blogger, podcast host, community leader, humanitarian, and social philanthropist.

I understand the plight of what it means to feel abandoned, alone, excluded, and misunderstood.

Growing up, It was my thought, feeling and determination to ensure no one ever had to mentally, emotionally, spiritually or socially struggle or suffer alone. Thus gave birth to the merging of my personal and professional experience to develop my own platform and personal brand in physical health and wellness coaching at Living Well With WiL.

My grander ambition is to nurture a legacy and grow an empire solely dedicated to guiding those of my many clients over the years and those yet to join the Living Well With WiL family on the path towards living, the healthy and happy lives they deserve in mind, body, and spirit.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Over the years, there have been many challenges personally, medically, emotionally, professionally, financially, spiritually and socially.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
The evolution of Living Well With WIL began in 2000 after I joined the elite team of Equinox Gym’s top ten highest producing and most sought-after trainers in the industry of physical health and wellness. I joined as a group health coaching expert not knowing that journey would lead me down the path to helping others far beyond picking up dumbbells.

Today, Living Well With WiL has evolved into a personalized digital, visual, audio outlet and podcast which leverages its website and social media platforms which provides solutions and services in physical health, nutrition and wellness coaching to support and nurture the way my clients take care of themselves and one another.
