Hidden Gems: Meet Maheen Asif of Pristine Planning Events

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maheen Asif.

Hi Maheen, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m Maheen, founder of Pristine Planning Events. We started about four years ago from a simple love for creating beautiful moments, and it has now grown into something I will forever be grateful for. Every event and every client relationship has been built on trust alone.

I was just a girl with a vision and a husband who believed in it, and together we created a business that became more than a dream.

There were so many moments when it felt impossible, but looking back now, I am grateful for every opportunity.

Pristine Planning has grown so much, and so have we.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building Pristine Planning Events while working a job and raising my one year old daughter has been challenging.

There were days of constant multitasking, little sleep, and feeling like time was never enough. Balancing work, motherhood, and business often felt overwhelming.

There were times my mind told me to quit, but my heart never let go of the dream.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
The event planning industry is growing steadily and becoming more experience-driven. Today, people really value personalization, aesthetics, and smooth execution, which has increased the demand for professional planners.

Social media, especially Instagram, has played a big role in this shift. Events are now more about visual storytelling, so even small celebrations are planned like curated experiences.

Overall, the industry is competitive, but it offers a lot of opportunities for planners who are creative, organized, and focused on delivering consistent quality and building trust.
