Artisan Turf was founded by my brother Blake Pugh and me, Spencer Shepherd, combining our unique backgrounds to build a leading artificial turf company here in the Dallas-Fort Worth, and surrounding areas. I brought my experience in project management, which helped with logistics, planning, and execution, while Blake, with his background as a professional golfer, brought a keen eye for precision, design, and performance—especially when it came to creating custom putting greens.
Our journey started when we saw a growing need for high-quality, low-maintenance artificial turf that could transform residential and commercial spaces into lush, functional environments. We both share a passion for delivering excellence, and that’s what led us to create Artisan Turf. From the start, our goal has been to provide our clients with top-tier products, exceptional service, and long-lasting results they can depend on.
Today, Artisan Turf is proud to be known for installing premium artificial turf and custom golf greens throughout Fort Worth, Dallas, and surrounding areas (We’ve actually gone as far as Temple, Texas).
