Hi Tamara, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
As a mother of 7, grandmother and business entrepreneur, I’ve seen a lot of life! I’m ever so fortunate to have the opportunity to help people on their health journeys. When I began studying natural health and nutrition, I had my eye on homeopathy as a special medicine I’d like to understand. I’ve completed two major courses to now be qualified as a homeopath. This is my passion, to see homeopathy in the hands of families who can use it to support their own health and that of their families.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When I look at the big picture, it’s been a smooth road, because I know bumps and hiccups along the way are common to this gift we call life. It was definitely a struggle to go “back to school” in my 50’s and 60’s while also supporting my husband’s self employed business and being there for my family. But ever so worth it!
We’ve been impressed with Homeopathy Now, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Homeopathy Now seeks to offer education and support to home users of homeopathy. Additionally, private consultations are available. Homeopathy is a safe and effective medicine, made in pharmacies and available over the counter as well. Additionally, nutrition, herbal supplements and emotional freedom work are specialties. Although it is important that clients know that I am not a “medical professional”, I am well trained in this health support paradigm. I do not claim to diagnose or prescribe, and each client’s health choices are their own responsibility. However, I love to come alongside and recommend remedies and more to assist them in their health journeys. The body is often inclined to heal itself, given the correct “recipe”. I’ve been delighted to see clients I’ve assisted reduce their pharmaceutical use, feel better and happier, lower blood pressure—and overall be able to complete their missions they have been called to in this life.
There are very few homeopaths in the DFW region. Not all are trained in the most up- to -date detox and organ support methods. Homeopathy Now combines this expertise with nutrition and emotional freedom modalities in a unique and supportive way. AND, the affordable classes are framed to help mothers, fathers, grandmothers and even teens learn how to support their own health and avoid chronic illness.
What does success mean to you?
Success is the ability to complete one’s God given mission. Success is also personal—it involves a balance of self-care, creativity, service and more.
