Today we’d like to introduce you to Adil Jawed.
Hi Adil, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Adil. I’m 27 years old, a husband, father, and serial entrepreneur. I’m married to my college sweetheart, Sarah, and together we’ve been blessed with three beautiful children. I often joke with my wife that I thought we’d make Forbes 30 Under 30 by now—but instead, we joined a different club this year: 3 under 3. While entrepreneurship has been an incredible journey, being a husband and father is my greatest accomplishment and the driving force behind everything I do.
One trait I’ve noticed in every successful entrepreneur I’ve met is adaptability. The ability to identify problems people are facing and create effective solutions is what separates good businesses from great ones. After a successful exit in the hospitality industry, I began looking for the next opportunity where I could make a meaningful impact.
The inspiration for Willow Bend Roofing & Construction came from a neighbor who was taken advantage of by a contractor. She paid a deposit for a new roof, only for the contractor to disappear without ever starting the project. Seeing that firsthand reinforced something I already believed: homeowners deserve honest contractors they can trust.
That experience motivated me to build a company that would be a true one-stop shop for roofing, remodeling, and construction services, with integrity at the center of everything we do. Our goal has never been to simply sell roofs—it’s to provide real value, quality workmanship, and peace of mind for homeowners.
At Willow Bend Roofing & Construction, we take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship at honest and affordable prices. Whether it’s impact-resistant Class 3 or Class 4 shingles, metal roofing systems, or complete exterior renovations, we believe in doing the job once and doing it right. We advocate for our customers every step of the way and work hard to ensure they receive the best possible outcome with the lowest out-of-pocket cost.
Building businesses has always been a passion of mine, but building trust within the communities we serve is what makes this work truly meaningful.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not. Like most entrepreneurs, I’ve learned that the road is rarely smooth. One of the biggest challenges has been finding and retaining great people. You can have the best systems and processes in place, but at the end of the day, a business is only as strong as its team.
There have been plenty of times when things didn’t go according to plan and I’ve had to step in personally—whether that meant climbing onto a roof, helping finish a paint job, or doing whatever was necessary to make sure the customer was taken care of. I’ve always believed that no task is beneath me if it helps deliver on a promise we’ve made.
Those experiences have taught me the importance of leadership, accountability, and building the right culture. The employees who have been with me for years are worth their weight in gold, and much of our success is a direct result of their hard work, loyalty, and commitment to our customers. Finding great people is difficult, but when you do, investing in them is one of the best decisions you can make as a business owner.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Willow Bend Roofing & Construction is a full-service roofing, remodeling, and construction company built on one simple principle: treat every customer the way you would want your own family to be treated.
We specialize in residential and commercial roofing, insurance restoration, exterior remodeling, and construction services. Whether it’s a roof replacement, storm damage claim, exterior renovation, or a complete remodeling project, our goal is to make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible for our customers.
What sets us apart is our commitment to integrity, transparency, and quality. Unfortunately, the construction industry has earned a reputation for contractors who overpromise and underdeliver. We built Willow Bend to be different. We believe in honest communication, fair pricing, and standing behind our work long after the project is complete.
We’re also passionate about educating homeowners. A roof is one of the most important investments a family can make, and we want our customers to fully understand their options before making a decision. Whether that means installing impact-resistant Class 3 or Class 4 shingles, upgrading to a metal roofing system, or navigating an insurance claim, we take the time to guide our customers every step of the way.
Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is the trust we’ve built within our community. Many of our projects come from referrals, repeat customers, and relationships we’ve developed over the years. That trust wasn’t built through marketing—it was earned by consistently doing what we said we would do.
At the end of the day, we’re not just in the roofing business; we’re in the people business. Our mission is to protect homes, help families, and provide a level of service that gives customers complete confidence that they made the right choice. We want every customer to feel like they have a trusted advocate in their corner, not just another contractor.
What does success mean to you?
Success means different things to me today than it did when I was younger. Early on, I measured success by revenue, growth, and business achievements. While those things are important, I’ve learned that true success is about much more than what’s on a balance sheet.
For me, success is having the freedom to spend time with my family, being present for my wife and children, and knowing that the work I do is creating opportunities for others. It’s building a business that positively impacts employees, customers, and the community while maintaining the values that matter most.
From a business perspective, success means earning trust. If a customer feels confident referring us to their friends and family, that’s a win. If an employee is proud to work for our company and can build a better future because of the opportunities we’ve created, that’s a win.
Ultimately, success is about legacy. It’s about building something that lasts, making a positive impact on people’s lives, and being remembered as someone who always did the right thing—even when nobody was watching. If I can be a great husband, a great father, and build businesses that genuinely help people, I consider that a successful life.
