Today we’d like to introduce you to Ali Kinsey Keith.
Hi Ali, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in historic Hot Springs, Arkansas, spending countless hours in my grandmother’s antique jewelry store surrounded by vintage baubles that sparked my imagination. When I was twelve, my grandmother encouraged me to sketch my own designs—planting the seed of what would become Kinsey Designs.
After years of drawing ideas and dreaming up new designs, I finally found the courage to follow my heart and bring them to life. I began small, combining locally sourced agate, new materials, and vintage pieces from my grandmother’s collection to create handmade jewelry for local boutiques.
My childhood spark has since grown into Kinsey Designs—a jewelry brand rooted in heritage, design, and details that celebrate the people and moments that matter most.
Today, our studio sits on the same grounds as my grandmother’s original store—a full-circle reminder of where it all began. I live nearby with my husband, Jared, and our daughter, Quinn, continuing to honor people and moments through jewelry made to feel personal and enduring.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
If any small business owner is able to answer “Yes” to this question, I would love to sit down for a coffee with them. One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced has been scaling a growing business while maintaining the quality, customer experience, and brand identity that built it in the first place. Like many small business owners, I’ve also had to navigate shifting market conditions, rising costs, and unexpected industry changes while continuing to innovate and serve our customers.
One of our greatest challenges has always been standing out in an increasingly crowded jewelry market. We work hard to create distinctive designs, cultivate meaningful relationships with our retail partners, and offer an experience that sets Kinsey Designs apart from the sea of brands competing for attention.

What sets us apart is our commitment to creating jewelry with meaning while making customization approachable and fun. Our signature Charm Bar allows customers to create a look that is uniquely their own, and our retailers love that it offers a highly interactive shopping experience. What I’m most proud of is the community we’ve built. From a small business started in my college apartment to a brand sold to more than 1,500 boutiques nationwide, we’ve remained focused on serving our customers and retail partners with integrity, creativity, and exceptional service. At the end of the day, we want people to know that every Kinsey Designs piece is created to help celebrate life’s moments, big and small.
