Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Ellis County Event Center was originally created by our father back in 2012 for his daughters! In 2017 Angela and Grisela started working together to create better all inclusive packages for our clients that were stress free for our Paris Hall including DJ services, centerpieces, catering and more. In June 2022 we were able to buy our dad out and completely take over the business. It has been a challenge every year but we learn that it is something we have dedicated our lives to make a dream event for our clients. In October of 2022 is when we crated the idea of Kids Colosseum where we created a space for kids birthday parties, baby showers and more that included all decor, and play areas so parents could have beautiful parties for their children without the stress. Every day we strive to be more inclusive and find ways to make sure our clients have a beautiful experience here with us!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has definitely not been a smooth road, especially because we had to go through COVID as a small business, that was probably the toughest time for us. Gladly we survived and made it through! Till this day I think as a small business we have tough times just by getting our name out there, clientele that enjoy our services, and to that motivation to grow and keep going. Having each other as sisters and business partners has helped us in trying times and challenges but knowing we have each other helps us stay strong and know that we got this!

Ellis County Event Center is a venue that hosts any type of events as small as 20 guests to 300 guests. We specialize in all inclusive packages where clients do not have to stress about a thing. Our Paris Hall we host weddings, quinceañeras, corporate events and more where we include all your venue staff, DJ services, decorations, catering services, specialty cakes, balloon decor, cleanup and more. Our Kids Colosseum is our kids venue where we have different play areas for all ages like our soft play area with a small bounce house, a big bounce house, air hockey table, PlayStation 5s, basketball arcade, and Bluetooth speaker with microphones. As well as we base our decor off your inspiration picture and create beautiful balloon arches, centerpieces and more. We also include a party assistant and host to help through your event with setup, serving food, cake cutting, and cleanup! Our brand prides ourselves in stress free events with quality services! As a small family business we put so much heart into our work because we know that creating a memorable celebration takes time and money but here at Ellis County Event Center we like to create budget friendly and all inclusive packages for our clients!
