Hi Christina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in a tiny town in Texas surrounded by a lot of people that were happy with simple rural lifestyle. I always felt different and rarely fit in and it wasn’t until I was an adult that I understood why.
The inability to fit in followed me through my college career and into corporate. It was then that I decided to build my own business.
The growth and roller coaster of a journey entrepreneurship brings has always felt so fitting for me. Being in an industry where I get to help other businesses grow and thrive has been really fulfilling and I absolutely love what I do.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has not been a smooth ride, but I wasn’t challenged near as much until I entered motherhood. I had a baby solo by choice and postpartum rocked me, which greatly impacted my business. The challenge really showed me what I was capable of, while also revealing the important need for more support for mothers in our country.
