Inspiring Conversations with Maye GarcΓa of GATIER πŸ˜ΊπŸ’¦

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maye GarcΓa.

Hi Maye, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My Story

I was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico, and proudly graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Administration from TecnolΓ³gico de Monterrey (ITESM), Chihuahua Campus.

I began my professional career at Banco Bital (now HSBC), where I worked as a Financial Advisor for two and a half years. Later, I joined the Purchasing and Logistics department of one of the largest manufacturing companies in the state of Chihuahua. Those experiences taught me strategic planning, negotiation, leadership, and the importance of building strong relationships.

In 2012, my family and I made one of the biggest decisions of our lives. We moved to Mansfield, Texas, seeking a safer future for our daughters during a time when violence in Chihuahua had become a daily reality.

My Ex husband had a work permit. I did not.

So, I made the decision to dedicate myself completely to raising our three daughters. For more than ten years, being a full-time Mom became my greatest responsibility and my greatest privilege.

As the years passed, a new opportunity found me.

In August 2022, I founded Creando Alianzas, an organization created to support Latina entrepreneurs by helping them build meaningful relationships and grow their businesses.

Our launch event at the Westin Las Colinas exceeded every expectation. It was there that I truly discovered the power of networking. I connected with entrepreneurs from across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and spent the following year building a community where collaboration always came before competition.

Then, my life took an unexpected turn.

I got divorced.

After spending more than a decade focused on my family, I suddenly found myself without a stable job and faced with the challenge of starting over from scratch.

It was one of the most difficult seasons of my lifeβ€”but it also became the beginning of my greatest transformation.

My first step was returning to the financial industry, where I worked as a Financial Advisor, helping families and business owners protect their financial future and build long-term wealth.

Then came another life-changing moment.

I attended the Beyond Wealth conference, where world-renowned leaders such as Brian Tracy, Fernando Anzures, Jorge Serratos, John Maxwell, and GATIER founders Spencer and Florencia Hoffman took the stage.

During their presentation, they introduced GATIER, but they never mentioned who would distribute it in the United States.

Most people simply applauded and moved on.

I did something different.

I stood up, walked over to the speakers, and asked one simple question:

β€œWho is going to distribute GATIER in the United States?”

The answer was simple:

β€œNo one… yet.”

At that moment, I saw an opportunity where others saw only a presentation.

That single question marked the beginning of my journey as the GATIER distributor for the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Today, I have the privilege of introducing this premium, 100% Mexican natural mineral sparkling water to some of the finest cafΓ©s, restaurants, bars, yoga studios, and fitness centers across DFW.

For me, it’s about much more than selling water.

It’s about representing a premium Mexican brand with pride, creating meaningful partnerships, and proving that opportunities belong to those who are willing to take the first step.

Looking back, I realize that every major turning point in my life started the same way:

I chose to get up.

I chose to introduce myself.

I chose to ask the question.

Today, I continue to believe that one conversation can open a door, one connection can change a life, and one decision can completely transform your future.

My favorite quote: Tu Futuro lo defines HOY!

Your future is defined by the decisions you make today.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

After more than a decade dedicated to raising my daughters, I went through a divorce and found myself without a job. It was a defining moment that called me to reinvent myself professionally once again.

Looking back, I realize my life has been shaped by the courage to reinvent myselfβ€”first by leaving everything familiar behind to move to a new country, embrace a new language, and adapt to a new culture; then by building opportunities for Latina entrepreneurs through Creando Alianzas; and later by rebuilding my own career

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about GATIER πŸ˜ΊπŸ’¦?
Today, I have the privilege of introducing GATIER πŸ˜ΊπŸ’¦ a premium natural sparkling mineral water sourced from one of the purest springs in Mexico, to some of the finest cafΓ©s, restaurants, bars, yoga studios, and fitness centers across DFW.

What makes GATIER πŸ˜ΊπŸ’¦ different goes far beyond its elegant design. It features a smooth, perfectly balanced bubble and naturally contains essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and sulfates, offering both exceptional taste and natural health benefits.

Its signature aluminum can chills quickly, enhancing the drinking experience while reflecting GATIER’s commitment to sustainability. Recycling aluminum saves up to 95% of the energy required to produce new aluminum, making it a more environmentally responsible choice.

GATIER πŸ˜ΊπŸ’¦ was created to accompany life’s best momentsβ€”to elevate conversations, celebrations, experiences, and meaningful connections. That mission deeply resonates with my own values.

Serving as an Ambassador for the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce helped me discover something even more meaningful about myself.

I realized that my greatest passion isn’t simply growing my own businessβ€”it’s serving my community.

I love connecting people, not only when it benefits my own business, but when it creates opportunities for others to grow. There is something incredibly powerful about introducing the right people to one another and watching new ideas, partnerships, and businesses flourish.

The more I serve, the more convinced I become that networking is one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives and businesses.

Nothing brings me more joy than meeting new people, learning their stories, discovering how I can help them, and celebrating their success.

Whether I’m introducing entrepreneurs to one another, helping businesses grow, or bringing GATIER πŸ˜ΊπŸ’¦ to new partners across DFW, my purpose remains the same:

To create meaningful connections that make a lasting impact.

Because I truly believe that every great opportunity begins with a SINGLE CONVERSATION!
