Hi Mika, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey has been one of healing, reinvention, and learning to trust myself.
I’ve always had a deep love for wellness and helping people feel their best, but life didn’t unfold exactly the way I imagined. After losing my mother, I experienced one of the most difficult seasons of my life. That loss changed me. It forced me to reevaluate everything and ultimately led me on a deeper journey of self discovery, healing, and personal growth.
A few years later, I moved to Dallas and started over. I didn’t arrive with a huge network or a perfect plan. I simply knew that I wanted to create a life that felt meaningful and aligned with who I was becoming.
Over the years, that vision evolved into Dallas Pro Aesthetics, a wellness centered skincare practice built around the belief that beauty begins from within. What started as a passion for skincare grew into something much larger. Along the way, I discovered that my work was never just about skincare. It was about confidence. It was about wellness. It was about helping people reconnect with themselves and realize they’re capable of creating positive change in their own lives.
Today, I wear many hats- holistic esthetician, wellness educator, speaker, author, entrepreneur, and founder, but at the heart of everything I do is a desire to help people create healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives.
Every experience, challenge, and lesson has contributed to that purpose. My work continues to evolve, and I’m excited to see where the journey leads next.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No entrepreneurial journey is a smooth road, and mine certainly hasn’t been.
Starting over in a new city taught me resilience. Building a business taught me discipline. Life taught me adaptability.
Building a business from the ground up requires a tremendous amount of faith, hard work, and consistency, especially when you’re doing it without a roadmap.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that growth isn’t just about strategy, it’s also about personal development. Entrepreneurship has a way of revealing your strengths, your blind spots, your fears, and your potential all at the same time.
There were seasons where resources were limited, opportunities didn’t go as planned, and progress felt slower than what I wanted. But I’ve learned that growth isn’t measured by how quickly things happen. Sometimes growth is measured by who you’re becoming while you’re waiting.
I’ve had to learn confidence, leadership, and to trust my intuition.
There were seasons that felt slow, but looking back, those moments were preparing me for the next level. Every challenge taught me something valuable, and I’m grateful for it because it helped shape both the person and entrepreneur I am today.

Dallas Pro Aesthetics is a wellness centered skincare practice built on the belief that beauty begins from within.
While we specialize in corrective skincare treatments such as chemical peels, acne treatments, and DPN and skin tag removal, what truly sets us apart is our holistic approach. I believe healthy skin is influenced by more than what we apply topically. Nutrition, stress, lifestyle habits, and overall well being all play an important role in how we look and feel.
My goal has never been simply to help someone achieve clearer skin. It’s about helping people build confidence, reconnect with themselves, and feel empowered in their own skin. Every treatment begins with education, personalized care, and a genuine desire to understand each client’s unique needs and goals.
As a holistic esthetician and wellness educator, I’m passionate about helping people understand the connection between inner wellness and outer beauty.
At its core, Dallas Pro Aesthetics is about transformation, not just skin transformation, but personal transformation as well.

One thing I’ve learned is that success isn’t just about what you achieve, it’s about who you become along the way.
For a long time, I thought my biggest accomplishments would be the goals I reached or the business I built. What I’ve come to realize is that the real transformation happened within me. Learning to trust myself, create healthy boundaries, embrace change, and continue moving forward despite uncertainty has been one of my greatest rewards.
As I enter this next chapter, I’m focused on creating impact through wellness, education, community, and personal growth. Whether that’s through skincare, speaking, writing, events, mentorship, or creating spaces that bring people together, my goal is simple: to help people believe in what’s possible for their own lives.
If there’s one thing I hope readers take away from my story, it’s that you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. Start where you are, trust the process, and keep taking the next step.
