Inspiring Conversations with Victoria Espinoza of FIT4MOM Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Espinoza.

Hi Victoria, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Before becoming a mom, I was living my dream career as a Construction Project Manager. When I became pregnant, my husband was working in the oilfield, and we made the decision that I would stay home with our son. It wasn’t something I had ever envisioned for myself, but it has been one of the greatest blessings and biggest life transitions of my life.

When my son was five months old, I realized I needed more than just a daily routine at home. I needed connection, friendships, and an outlet for myself. After searching for workouts where I could bring my baby, I found FIT4MOM and attended my first class just two days after discovering it. From that first class, I knew I had found something special. FIT4MOM allowed me to focus on my fitness while surrounding myself with women who understood exactly what season of life I was in, and it gave my son opportunities to learn and socialize as well.

As I became more involved, I fell in love with the community and wanted to help create that same experience for other moms. I became an instructor so I could be part of their journeys, and when the opportunity to purchase FIT4MOM Fort Worth came along, it felt like the perfect next step. Today, I have the privilege of helping moms find the support, confidence, and community that changed my own life.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely has not been a completely smooth road. While my background in project management gave me valuable skills in organization, planning, and problem-solving, I had never owned or operated a business before. There was a steep learning curve, and I quickly realized there were many areas I needed to develop.
One of the biggest challenges for me was social media marketing. Learning how to create content, make reels, understand algorithms, and consistently show up online felt like stepping into an entirely new world. It was far outside my comfort zone. However, entrepreneurship has taught me that you don’t have to know everything from the start. You learn, adapt, ask questions, and keep moving forward. Every challenge has helped me grow, and looking back, those obstacles have made me a stronger business owner and leader.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
FIT4MOM Fort Worth is part of FIT4MOM, the nation’s leading prenatal and postnatal fitness program, with franchises serving moms and families across the country. While fitness is at the core of what we do, we’re so much more than a workout program. Our mission is to support moms through every stage of motherhood by providing fitness, community, and meaningful connection.

We offer a variety of mom-and-child-friendly fitness classes, including Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre, Strides 360, Run Club+, and more. What makes FIT4MOM unique is that children are welcome and encouraged to be part of the experience. Moms don’t have to choose between taking care of themselves and spending time with their children, they can do both together.

What truly sets us apart is our community. We create opportunities for moms to build friendships and find support through playgroups, moms’ nights out, book clubs, family events, and educational gatherings. Motherhood can often feel isolating, and we strive to create a village where moms feel seen, supported, and empowered.

What I’m most proud of is the impact our community has on the lives of local moms. I’ve watched women walk into their first class feeling nervous, lonely, or unsure of themselves and leave with newfound confidence, lifelong friendships, and a support system they can count on. FIT4MOM changed my life as a new mom, and now I have the privilege of helping create that same experience for others. At the end of the day, we’re not just building stronger moms physically, we’re building stronger families and communities.
