Hi Waylon, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey started in High school with AV and Skills USA. Me and my friend Henry Hawkins made a short film that won us 1st place in DFW and 4th in the state of Texas. From there we made an hour and 21 minute movie called The Butterfly Brooch now on IMDB. With 10k invested, 50+ volunteers and 200 guests at the official screening raising almost 1K. It was a success in our eyes. From there I’ve wanted to monetize my skill. I went and made content for businesses and personal brands in high school. When I decided to graduate early I did not go to college but fully perused business. In recent months I have moved onto creating reels and running meta ads for several businesses and industries. Today I am 19 years old and slowly scaling my business into success. I have more plans beyond marketing but this is a good step in life for me with my business, Bacculytes Marketing Agency.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Understanding what my offer is, how to communicate and to stop doubting my own abilities have absolutely been the hardest obstacles. I always see others and compare myself to them. That is a dangerous idea people need to kick.

Without risk there is no reward. Sometimes we need to push ourselves and just go for it. Action is everything. When there’s an opportunity you see you go for it. We have done free work and constantly market in person or online. If you don’t put yourself and your business out there don’t expect growth.
