Today we’d like to introduce you to Aerial Wafer.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m from a small-town name Bernice, LA, where everyone knows each other and is like family. I visited Dallas once and instantly knew that it was the place for me. So, I researched everything I needed to know before moving out on my own. I found me a job and an apartment all in one week I was set to move. So, at the age of 19, I made up my mind up to move to Dallas to brand myself more. I started out doing hair at 18 practicing on myself. Then decide that I wanted to go do other people hair. So that was the biggest reason I wanted to move to Dallas, knew I would flourishing more out in a bigger city. I have big dreams for myself. I want to one day be known for a big hairstylist in the DFW area. Little over a year after being out here, I applied to the Paul Mitchell and got an accepted into the program. So, I’m currently enrolled in school and doing hair on the weekends with also maintaining a full-time job. I really hope publishing this letter brings more attention to me, I put in a lot of hard work to do what I’m doing today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Moving to Dallas was actually very easy for me to do because I had the money saved up to do so. There has been a few bumps and the road but nothing I haven’t overcome.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in lace installs and soon will be specialized in natural hair and many more things to come. I’m known for wig installs. I’m very proud that I have made it this far in life due to so many obstacles been thrown at me at a young age. I fell like I’m set aside from over because I’m only 21 years old and is in an ever-good position at a young age.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
