Life & Work with Daniela of Dallas-Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniela.

Hi Daniela, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Since I was a little girl, I have always loved all forms of art. Whether it was painting, crafts, music, dancing, fashion, or anything that allowed me to express my creativity, I was always drawn to it. Makeup and hairstyling were no exception. I was fascinated by how they could enhance someone’s natural beauty and transform the way they felt about themselves.
In 2020, I decided to begin my journey in the beauty industry, driven by a desire to turn my passion into a career. What started as a love for learning new techniques quickly became a calling: helping women feel confident, beautiful, and empowered.
As I grew in my craft, I realized that beauty is about so much more than appearance. Makeup and hairstyling have the power to celebrate special moments, boost confidence, and help women see the beauty that already exists within them.
That is how Solis Beauty was born—a brand built on creativity, passion, and the belief that every woman deserves to feel radiant. Today, I specialize in soft glam makeup and timeless hairstyling, creating elegant looks that enhance natural beauty while making each client feel like the best version of herself.
My mission remains simple: to provide an experience where every woman feels seen, valued, confident, and beautiful from the inside out.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all. Like many entrepreneurs, my journey has come with its share of challenges.
One of the biggest struggles was building confidence in myself and my skills when I was first starting out. The beauty industry is highly competitive, and there were moments when I questioned whether I was good enough or if I could truly build a successful business doing what I love.
Another challenge was balancing the creative side of beauty with the business side. Learning how to market myself, attract clients, create content, manage finances, and grow a brand required skills that went far beyond makeup and hairstyling.
I also experienced major life changes along the way, including getting married and moving to a new state. Starting over in a new city meant rebuilding my network and client base from the ground up, which was both exciting and challenging.
However, every obstacle taught me something valuable. Those experiences helped me grow not only as an artist, but also as a business owner and as a person.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a professional makeup artist and hairstylist based in Dallas, Texas, specializing in soft glam makeup and timeless hairstyling. My goal is to enhance each client’s natural beauty while creating a look that feels elegant, polished, and authentic to who they are.
While I work with clients for a variety of special occasions, I am especially passionate about bridal beauty. There is something incredibly meaningful about being part of one of the most important days in a woman’s life. I love helping brides feel confident, beautiful, and at ease as they walk into a new chapter.
What I am most proud of is building Solis Beauty from the ground up and having the opportunity to serve women through my creativity. Every client who trusts me with their beauty experience is a reminder of how far I’ve come since starting my journey in 2020.
I believe what sets me apart is my approach to beauty. Rather than masking someone’s features, I focus on enhancing what makes them uniquely beautiful. My signature style is soft, elegant, and timeless—looks that photograph beautifully and still feel like the client. I also strive to create a calm and welcoming experience where women feel valued, heard, and confident throughout the entire process.
For me, beauty is not just about makeup and hair; it’s about helping women see themselves the way they deserve to be seen—beautiful, confident, and radiant.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is actually connected to my love for beauty and creativity.
The color blue has always been one of my favorite colors. When I was about six years old, I decided that blue was exactly how I wanted to do my makeup. So, one day, I took my mother’s makeup and created what I thought was the perfect look. I applied bright blue eyeshadow on my eyelids, used the same blue eyeshadow as blush, and somehow found a metallic blue lipstick to complete the look.
Looking back, I can only imagine how funny I must have looked, but at the time I felt absolutely beautiful and proud of my creation. It’s a memory that still makes me smile because it was one of the first moments I expressed myself through makeup. Even then, I was fascinated by colors, creativity, and the idea of transforming a look through beauty.
