Hi Day, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in west Fort Worth. The oldest of all my siblings I had to grow up quickly. I was raised by a single mother and had to help out with my younger siblings. Music has always been apart of my life early on. My mom was a singer and lived by music daily. As it started off with sports and dance for me. But as time went on I slowly started writing rhymes and performing them for my peers. It wasn’t until the 2020 pandemic that I started to take it serious and put his rhymes/words on beats.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
ABSOLUTELY not no smooth road at all. No one wants to take a chance on a new artist. Everyone wants to be an artists these days that no one takes beginner’s serious. It took a while before I was able to start booking shows and showcasing my talent.

Well first and foremost I AM THE FUNKY TOWN PRINCE. I am a DFW based artist. I specialize in rap but make music and love all genres. I think what sets me apart from other up & coming artists is my vibe, style and the type of music that I’m bringing back to the hiphop scene. Im not your typical macho hard man so I’m bringing something fresh and new.
What makes you happy?
Family and friends make me happy the most. They are the reason I do what I do and the inspiration behind my music.
