Life & Work with Kitten Rose

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kitten Rose. 

Hi Kitten, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hello everyone! My name is Kitten Rose, also known as Meowstress. I respond to all as long as you smile! 

I have lived in Dallas, Texas for a total of 18 years. I am a California Native with some Texas ancestral roots. 

It’s hard to say where I began as I always felt as if my journey was meant for me to fight for, be incredibly blessed, and full of rewards as well as deep traumas just to share light for those who need a little every now and again. 

I moved to Texas in 2001. 

Living a luxurious life as a retail store manager, enjoying my hard work for several multimillion-dollar brands across DFW 2001-2007. 

I started networking and bartending private events which lead me to earning a degree in Medical ICB. My grandmother and mother were nurses. I am a numbers lady. I had just gotten a divorce and decided it was time to chase my dreams. 

I had just began a new life, finding peace and a foundation to finally create my destiny and begin to live and create my legend as an Iconic Pinup Model and Host. 

I began my modeling career in 2013 while working part-time bartending for Elite Events, hosting at many nightlife hot spots with many VIPs from all over the country, and socializing with many of the top socialites of Dallas. 

Prior to bartending, I was working in the medical field after earning my degree in Medical ICB. I worked quite a few years until I accepted that this was not a journey I wanted to continue as my experience was not very fruitful. 

I never gave up on my modeling and it seemed to interfere with my current position as a medical professional. 

I had found myself in Deep Ellum bartending at this Pinup & Goth Bar. I’m 2011-12 where it had become successful as the new hot spot! 

I was coming back into a world I had worked amongst and into a world I yet to known that existed due to being a professional. 

I could not truly celebrate the Pinup that I had to oppress at this time. 

I slowly grew as a respected and well-celebrated part of the community and industry and not just being on the opposing side of the bar. I became a staple in the Pinup & Car Lifestyle as well as dominating in the Nightlife as a prominent bartender. 

I wanted to give back and be a part of a community and I was accepted and so began my Career as a Pinup Bartender. 

I began to find myself with so many creative and talented artist that I could relate to in music, film, and burlesque in 2015. I began as a published writer for a small Pinup magazine based here. 

Shortly lived I knew what my next goal was to become. 

I was definitely honored to be amongst so many driven and passionate people in the industry to collaborate and create content. 

One day I put my dreams to work and started interviewing my favorite actors and musicians, brands at a local Horror Convention. I worked with new directors who loved my ideas and began my new journey. 

I started filming my first interview with Legendary Texas Thrash Metal Musician in 2016 with Bruce Corbitt of Arlington, Texas. 

His horror music video shorts that he directed with Warbeast and Rigor Mortis. 

He believed in me and was a huge part of my transition from Pinup Model to a prominent Metal Horror Pinup Icon, Actor, and Host. One of my favorite moments was honoring him with an award at HHFF. 

He was like a dad to me; he saved my soul when he believed in me enough to be his legal caregiver. He lost his fight with cancer in January of 2019. 

I look forward to being a part of more Gore & Horror films, music video cameos as well as interviewing again soon! 

It’s my passion. I always knew being a TV Host and speaker was a part of my healing journey when it was a the reason I was healing. 

Burlesque played a key part of my evolving. I have performed for private events, venues, and conventions. 

I recently performed a Halloween Show at Truth & Alibi in Deep Ellum, Dallas, Texas besides The Queens and Legend of New Orleans. 

Sisterhood has always been my foundation to a successful business adventure, foundation collaborations. 

Solidarity and Respect. I have published many infamous Pinup Models and Show Girls from all over the world. We all need a foundation and somewhere to begin. 

I love working with such artists and icons of the centuries and centuries to come. 

I have been in several music videos, 

working and collaborating with Legendary Musicians, Directors, Celebrities, Pro Skaters, Photographers, Actors, and Authors. I believe in pay it forward and so I did with much respect as a Co-Editor, Journalist, Interviewer, PR, Advertising Covergirl, and Centerfold for a Pinup Magazine for 4 years creating and building a beginner magazine based out of New Jersey. 

I have since decided to work on my very own magazine, candle brand “Haus of Meowstress” while working on content for my new and upcoming podcast, “The Kitten Krypt”. 

I began in DFW and I made it with the support of the fans, friends, customers, directors, and the women in my tribe, 

It’s good to have a few bad witches conjuring up magic and good times! 

I look forward to more horror and films to explore and film. I’m working on my next goal, having my own LATE-NIGHT TV SHOW. 

I am forever grateful for your love and support!! 

I have a different way of moving in the industries and even though it was not always the right choice, it’s my own vibe and frequency. I’ve been my own brand for over ten years, bartending throughout my career and never giving up. 

I am grateful to be where I am today. 

I recently moved back to Dallas from New Orleans. I continue to guest spot as a bartender at an infamous Metal Bar. 

I had a beautiful reset there and a new beginning as what we like to say, “Phoenix Rising”. 

I am working on my Master’s Reiki Certification in Crystals as well as Animal Reiki. I have a 17-year-old Ragdoll, Coco who is diagnosed cancer at this time. 

I am and forever booking as an Iconic Pinup Model and building my Empire. 

Meowstress Productions is my backbone to my Brand Meowstress. I created my brand and name in 2011. 

Don’t be misled by the scammers. 

I will resume my U.S. travels in April 2022 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Red Flags everywhere. I didn’t meet a situation that didn’t have a let least one red flag and that is my superpower. Nothing worth fighting for is easy and easy battle. Many will admire and be your unknown rival and send so much negative energy and hate frequencies to block your blessings. I know I am protected and I am in Divinity. 

I am here writing about myself and being published in Voyage Dallas Magazine as an Inspiring soul. I am so grateful and every hardship and suffering was worth this right here. To be called inspiring and to share my story is what “RICH” truly means. 

Overcoming the statistics and building a foundation for like-minded women, sisters, and high priestesses as myself is a lifelong goal. I am starting to believe I am achieving this today. 

“The Jungle” is an understatement. 

I’m talking about “The Amazon”. 

All the time I moved to Texas, I was battling a psychopath and the state of LA for sole custody of my daughter, which I won. Stepping into the power as a single mother while learning how to be a full-time mother and healer for both of us was my main duty and job. I was ok with putting me and myself daughter first, especially when I realized I was being psychologically and emotionally abused. 

I had escaped a few toxic and abusive relationships that led to me losing half my equilibrium in 2018, which resulted in becoming partial hearing impaired and living with tinnitus 24/7 a day. 

I almost lost my life that day, instead, I was shown my strength and I haven’t given up since. 

Many people love the idea of you. They crave the energy and the knowledge but lack the grasp of self-control to accept that we are all human beings living our own experiences and resets. 

Throughout it all, I had outlets. These outlets also brought great traumas and suffering by those who cannot accept your calling in life. 

Biggest gain was being aware of Red Flags and protecting myself and my work. 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I don’t really feel as if I have a title. I have so many it seems as I do names. 

Only a few will get that. 

I am an artist, an entrepreneur, a creative director, artist, creator of magic, and healer. 

I am Art and I would like to think of myself as a comedian at times. 

I’m an Entrepreneur of the Arts. 

I am proud of how courageous and outspoken I’ve been about my Pinup Modeling Career and how I set myself apart. 

I only worked on my journey. I opened up a portal for many others like myself where I was told that what I did and who I was didn’t exist. I am proud for never giving up, always believing in my purpose to be a light in the shadows for others that may be battling their own brutal battles. 

I am old school Pinup. I work with my Goddesses and I believe in cleansing everything with frankincense, sage, and Moon Water. 

I specialize in Energy Healing, Candle Magic, Interviewing Icons & Celebrities Slaying Spirits, and being a published Covergirl. 

When I’m not being magical in my daily life, I am “Meowstress”, as Social Media Journalist & Interviewer. Iconic Pinup & Host. 

I am currently most proud of my upcoming Magazine “Metal Vamps” and Podcast, “The Kitten Krypt”. 

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Since most of our New World is evolving to a digital world, I don’t see my work slowing down, I see my future as becoming more open to new opportunities, new beginnings, and education for a deeper knowledge for where we must enhance ourselves to be successful in our small business’. 

As long as we have women’s rights, I am hoping we do not see a huge change in platforms as we evolve into technology and our using our voices and stories to help raise the vibrations. 

Many young entrepreneurs, content creators, influencers and self-employed DBo will be educating us on what is to come for our futures. 

I look 

Forward to learning from them as well. 

A lot of wisdom is needed for the new generations. Exchange of Knowledge will definitely be a new shift. I am hoping the world becomes more selfless as we watch our world through its climate change. 

We now have to experience adapting to inflation and recording our lives as an online show. The land of Artists. 

We’ve been labeled and stereotyped and bullied throughout this pandemic. 

What do you do, how do you survive. As if modeling is our only attribute or exposing oneself is the only option to survive online. 

I am proud that women as myself are being recognized as Art more so than “Sex Worker”. We are small business owners and we are Entrepreneurs. 

Pushed into a corner to mind our business while having our businesses we created manipulated once again. When will this end? The control of the money we make and double taxing. Can we get a tax break! 

As a woman who has worked in many industries it’s easy to say every day there will be changes, shifts, and trends as long as we celebrate and support one another without expectations or manipulative tactics. We can most definitely create a solid foundation where we are protected and not taken advantage of by those who only see us as a dollar sign, instead of paying us our worth as Female Business Owners. 

I see myself as a successful Female Editor, Author, Actor, Speaker and continuing my legacy as Iconic Pinup Meowstress. 

I would love to speak on Ted Talks. 

I am a long-term survivor and High Priestess of Narcissistic & Sociopathic Abuse. I would love for the fight in the #meetoo #justice4amie and #gabbypetitofoundation to be celebrated in awareness for decades to come. 

I never really did fit in. I am from Los Angeles, CA. Grew up in Burbank and Santa Monica. 

I wasn’t really taken seriously because of my looks and where I chose to out my gifts. 

I realized it didn’t matter what I did. If I did it for other people and solely for their business. I created my own paths and my own genres to celebrate the Gods & Goddesses of artists, musicians, filmmakers, models, and everything in between. We can only keep the fire burning as we make our way through the Jungle.
