Today we’d like to introduce you to Landen Guevara.
Hi Landen, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a content creator based in Texas, and I started sharing my life on social media simply because I enjoyed documenting everyday moments and connecting with people. What started as casual videos quickly grew into a platform where I share lifestyle content, wellness, home projects, routines, events, and pieces of my everyday life. I love creating content that feels genuine and relatable while building a community of people who enjoy the same things.
Alongside social media, I’m also a Registered Dental Hygienist, which has been a huge part of my journey and personal growth. Working in healthcare has taught me confidence, communication, and the importance of connecting with others on a real level, and I think that naturally carries over into the content I create online.
Over time, I’ve been able to combine both worlds — healthcare, lifestyle, and creativity — while continuing to grow my platforms and work with brands and local businesses. My goal has always been to inspire people to enjoy the little moments, stay motivated, and realize you don’t have to fit into one box to pursue multiple passions.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like a lot of people, I’ve had moments where I questioned myself, felt overwhelmed, or wondered if what I was building would actually go anywhere. Balancing a career in healthcare while also trying to grow on social media can be challenging because both require a lot of time, consistency, and energy.
One of the biggest struggles has been learning to put myself out there publicly and stay confident even when growth feels slow or content doesn’t perform the way I hoped. Social media can be discouraging at times, especially when you compare yourself to others, but I’ve learned that consistency and authenticity matter more than trying to be perfect.
Another challenge has been balancing work, family life, and personal goals all at the same time. Working in dentistry is demanding, and there were times I had to learn how to manage stress, stay motivated, and keep showing up for myself even when things felt busy or uncertain.
At the end of the day, those challenges have helped shape me into who I am today. They’ve taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of continuing to grow both personally and professionally
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I create lifestyle and everyday content centered around wellness, routines, home projects, events, and relatable day-to-day moments. My content is really a mix of real life — whether that’s getting ready for work, trying new places around DFW, attending local events, sharing products I genuinely enjoy, or documenting personal milestones and growth. I enjoy creating content that feels authentic and easy for people to connect with.
I think what sets me apart is that I’m very genuine online. I don’t try to create a perfect image — I want people to feel like they’re just following along with a real person navigating life, career, family, and creativity all at once. Because I also work full-time in healthcare as a dental hygienist, I bring a unique perspective that blends professionalism, lifestyle, and creativity together.
One thing I’m most proud of is building a growing community through consistency and authenticity. I’ve been able to connect with local businesses, brands, and people in my community while staying true to myself and the type of content I genuinely enjoy creating. I’m proud that my platform continues to grow organically and that people connect with the realness behind what I share.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that networking doesn’t always have to feel formal. A lot of the opportunities and connections I’ve made came from simply showing up consistently, supporting other people, and being genuine. Whether it’s social media, local events, brand collaborations, or everyday conversations, building real relationships goes a long way.
For me, social media has been one of the best networking tools because it allows me to connect with creators, local businesses, and people with similar interests. I’ve learned that engaging with others consistently, supporting their content, and putting yourself out there can open a lot of doors over time.
When it comes to finding a mentor, I think it’s important to find someone whose values and work ethic you genuinely admire, not just someone with a large following or success online. Some of the best advice and encouragement can come from people who are a few steps ahead of you and willing to share their experiences honestly.
I also think it’s important not to wait until everything is perfect before starting. A lot of growth comes from learning as you go, staying consistent, and being willing to put yourself out there even when it feels uncomfortable.
