Life & Work with Larry Morgan of Granbury, Texas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Larry Morgan.

Hi Larry, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have always loved photography and needed to add a little income so I got on google and youtube to learn as much as I could, I quickly found out that it is not as easy as people make it out to be and that it takes a lot of money. I decided I was going to keep at it and started classes IAP Careere College. After I had a few free photo shoots to build my portfolio and photographed my sister’s wedding, I had to get back on youtube to learn how to build a website and was really excited when I went to https://www.morgansfamilyphotography.com and it actually worked. I eventually got my first paid shoot for $50 dollar’s and just kept on from there, it’s still only about 2 to 3 shoots every couple of months, but I have started doing parties, maternaty, pets, anniversary’s, surprise engagements and just recently added an option for prints. I love what I do and get to meet a lot of people while making a little money to help with the bills, its tuff because there are a lot of people doing it but most don’t realize it’s not just taking photos it’s telling a story while makeing and keeping memories plus I try to give the clients a great experiance they wont forget.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The money to get started and there is a lot to learn about photography.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I have worked in security for the last 22 years and manage a department in a gated community.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
My faith in Jesus Christ and family.
