Today we’d like to introduce you to Vicente Alarcon.
Hi Vicente, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been in the production industry for 10 years, 5 years doing traditional media and 5 years helping content creators bring their vision to life. I originally started by picking up my friends camera one random evening for fun and the lead photographer at the location asked me if I had an interest in camera stuff. From there I learned how to use a camera on my own time while still working. Fast forward 5 years to 2020, I had the opportunity to work for YouTubers and that sparked my creativity to an even higher level. Because of that job and the friends I made along the way, I had an opportunity to continue creating content under my own business name to help others grow.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I won’t say it’s been a smooth road for sure. There has been a lot of struggles as I figured out how to do things properly and just know more about what it takes. As someone that has gone through that road, I don’t think I would be where I’m at now if it wasn’t for amazing people always cheering me on.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I currently specialize in content creation videos. I’ve done it nonstop for 5 years and what I’m most proud of is, all the videos I managed to help create and bring to vision. From everyday videos to videos that I could only dream of ever shooting. I believe what sets me apart is that I can usually come up with a last minute shot pivot so we can make the video look as enticing as possible.
What are your plans for the future?
My future plans right now are to expand my knowledge and grow a full company out of what I love to do. That’s why right now I’m currently in Korea learning a new language since I want to create Korean speaking content. My goal would be to go to many countries and try to grow my business as much as possible by creating content in various languages.
