Hi Angela, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It started when my husband’s family member wanted a party bus for their birthday. My uncle had one, and we reached out. Just to find out he wasn’t doing nothing with it because he was too busy with other business ventures. The light bulb popped up! And the elevation of Slow Burn Mobile Cigar Lounge begun. We sold all cigars competing with your typical Cigar Lounge. We wanted a niche so that we could network with these same lounges. That’s how Slow Burn Cigars came about. We now have our own blends that are exceptional and are raising the bar for a quality smoke. They come from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Since then, we have acquired another mobile lounge that we have converted from an Airstream RV… Entering our lounges will give you the elegance and classy feel of being at a brick and mortar cigar lounge. And, here we are today. That’s the short version.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it has not been a smooth ride. First, your ROI doesn’t come over night. And, this life requires an investment. It took about a year to get a good blend of cigars and a few rollers to get the one that we deal with today. We learned lessons on importing cigars and how they can be held up in customs. But, over all, we have met exceptional people to help guide us thru our path.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We specialize in helping people find their happy spot. The process just happens to be complimented with premium cigars. Over a cigar, you can meet phenomenal people and have great conversation with people that you normally wouldn’t meet. What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love Waco because it’s my birth place and home.
My least like is that everything closes early.
