Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
When I moved from California to DFW, I started a foodie page to explore and share local restaurants while continuing my background in portrait photography. What began as creating content for local spots turned into taking professional photos and building websites for restaurants across DFW.
Three years ago, my husband and I turned that passion into a business. In that time we faced plenty of challenges while raising our two children and building something from the ground up. But we always knew we wanted to own our own business. It was a dream we talked about for nearly 10 years, and seeing it finally become a reality has been exciting!
As our clients grew, so did our services. My husband was able to leave his full-time job, and together we expanded into social media marketing and advertising, transforming our small business into a full-service marketing agency. While restaurants remain our specialty and where we got our start, we now help a variety of service-based businesses generate leads through strategic photo and video content, social media marketing, and advertising.
Today, we have the privilege of helping businesses get seen, build trust, and attract more customers through the same marketing principles that helped us grow our own business.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a smooth road for us! We faced many challenges and there was so much to learn, from marketing and sales to operations and client management, all while raising small children. At times it was very overwhelming. There were moments when we questioned whether we should keep going, but we constantly remembered our vision we had for our family and our future.
Every obstacle taught us something, and looking back, those challenges helped shape the business we have today! The key was simply refusing to quit and continuing to take the next step forward, even when things were difficult.

Christensen Creative Co. is a marketing agency that helps local businesses generate more leads, inquiries, bookings, and customers through strategic content, social media marketing, and advertising.
