Today we’d like to introduce you to Ayo Uno.
Hi Ayo, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Always been into music, art, & fashion. Almost a natural occurrence in my life. From my mama sleeping with the radio on slow jamz every night of my childhood to getting in trouble for recording raps over her cassette tapes. I walked into my first professional studio @ 14 in shreveport LA, from there forward i started to take music & being a artist/writer more seriously. Music held my hand & walked me right into art & fashion, which later led me to creating the successful clothing brand “The Emotional Club”. I am now a serial entrepreneur, artist, & creative director.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
nothing great in life will EVER come easy. This road had been full of twists turns & bumps but i was prepared mentally to succeed in this journey. What i am unable to carry i give to GOD & keep moving

I am owner of a successful clothing brand called The Emotional Club & an independent artist management label called 3rd Rock Collective. I specialize in creative direction for artist of all avenues. What sets me apart from others is being true to my vision in every aspect & being able to bring my thoughts to life
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I collect & study the artist KAWS, i get ALOT of creative ideas & motivation just flipping through his artwork & learning about the journey that was taken.
my 3 favorite podcast are DISGRACELAND & The Breakfast Club & Money and Wealth with John Hope Bryant. Its a great balance of music, art & financial literacy.
