Today we’d like to introduce you to Camille Medley.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Camille. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have always been obsessed with clear skin since my mom allowed me to wear makeup at 16. But during college, because I was so focused on getting my degree and finishing school, that obsession faded. Once I graduated from college and was working in my field of study, I quickly realized that I could not work for other people so I started cosmetology school while I worked full time to pay for it.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s been a road paved with lessons. Lessons for life, finances, and personal goals. There were and still are a lot of different standards that I compete myself to in terms of how I progress either in my career, personal brand, or whatever goal I set for myself.
Please tell us about Camille’s Aesthetic.
Camille’s Aesthetic is the most recent and most loved iteration of my business as of yet. I am a licensed esthetician; I provide lash lift and lash extension services, skincare, and facial and body waxing!
I am most proud of my guests and I say that because if it weren’t for their trust and loyalty in me and the services I provide them, Camille’s Aesthetic wouldn’t exist. My business is different from others because I approach my guests as the individuals they are. No one treatment is the same. Camille’s Aesthetic main goal is to create a custom experience for each guest.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
That’s easy! I would’ve taken my time in college, and in my work life after school. I was always meant to own my own business and that wouldn’t have changed had I been more patient with myself.
