Today we’d like to introduce you to Da’ Kassha Holmon.
Hi Da’ Kassha, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my journey in a very real and personal way—experiencing financial setbacks, learning credit the hard way, and having to rebuild from the ground up. I know what it feels like to be overlooked, overwhelmed, and unsure where to start.
Over time, I committed myself to learning how credit truly works, how funding systems operate, and how financial decisions impact long-term stability. As I rebuilt my own credit and finances, I realized that many people especially women—were going through the same struggles without guidance or support.
That’s what led me to start my business. Today, I help women rebuild their credit, confidence, finances, and future through education, structure, and support systems that actually work. My focus is not just credit repair, but transformation helping people move from stuck to strategy and from surviving to building.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. I moved to a new city with no family or support system, which forced me to figure things out on my own. I had to learn and grow through financial challenges, trial and error, and moments of uncertainty while building my foundation from the ground up.
One of my biggest struggles was navigating everything without guidance or a strong support system, while still trying to create stability and understand credit and financial systems on my own. There were moments where things didn’t work the first time and I had to rebuild and stay consistent through the process.
But those experiences shaped me. They taught me resilience, discipline, and how to turn my personal journey into a system that now helps others rebuild with confidence and direction.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My business is centered around helping women rebuild their credit, confidence, finances, and future. I specialize in credit education, financial literacy, and funding strategies that help individuals understand how to improve their credit profile and position themselves for long-term financial success.
What I am most known for is my step-by-step approach to credit rebuilding and my ability to break down complex financial systems in a way that is simple, practical, and actionable. I focus on not just fixing credit, but helping women change their mindset and build better financial habits that support lasting results.
What sets my brand apart is the combination of education, community, and real-life experience. I’ve personally walked the journey of rebuilding from financial setbacks, so everything I teach comes from both knowledge and lived experience. I understand the emotional side of rebuilding, not just the technical side.
I am most proud of the community I’ve built through From Broken to Building and the impact it has had on women who are starting over after difficult seasons in life. My brand is not just about credit repair—it’s about restoration, structure, and empowerment.
My offerings include credit education programs, a supportive membership community, and sponsored credit rebuilding services designed to guide women step-by-step as they rebuild their financial lives with confidence.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like best about the city:
What I like most is the sense of opportunity and growth. There are so many different people, businesses, and resources, and it creates space to connect, learn, and build something meaningful. I also appreciate the diversity and the ability to meet people from different backgrounds and experiences.
What I like least about the city:
What I like least is that it can sometimes feel fast-paced and overwhelming, and it’s easy for people to feel disconnected if they don’t have a strong support system. Like any big city, you have to be intentional about building community and balance.
