Today we’d like to introduce you to Dayna Tolley.
Dayna, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I got my start planning parties for my two daughters. They are currently 11 and 5. Things progressed quickly with other children’s parents asking for my assistance in planning their children’s events. That eventually blossomed into adult events and corporate events.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to entrepreneurship is never smooth. My biggest struggle has been an effective marketing and advertising. A lot of people do not understand how much work goes into planning an event. Sometimes, they are reluctant to accept the cost of my services.
Please tell us about Party On Events.
We are a full-service event planning company. We specialize in social and corporate events. We help contract all your vendors and we offer day of coordination to make sure your day runs smooth. We are known for our awesome dessert tables. I am most proud of being able to celebrate special moments with amazing clients. We recently did a Breast Cancer survivor party and it was on the most emotional events we have ever done. What sets us apart is our passion. We want to make sure each and every detail is perfect and that your event is one to remember.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I loved spending time with my family. My mom and dad were very involved parents and we did everything together.
