Today we’d like to introduce you to Glenn Stromberg.
Glenn, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have been in the Manufactured Housing/ Mobile Home industry for over 30 years. I have owned and operated mobile homes parks, developed mobile home subdivisions and have owned retail mobile home dealerships. Since 2006 our current business model is providing high quality affordable manufactured homes for our tenants, most of our homes are 1500 to 2200 square feet and are on an acre or more.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No it has not been a smooth road. In 2008 when the real estate crash hit, I had to totally change my business model. I was buying the doublewide mobile homes, fixing them up and flipping/ selling them. When the crash hit the banks quit lending and I had to change our model to leasing the homes which turned out to be a blessing in disguise!

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Growing up in Chicago when I was 10 years old. It was one of the biggest snow storms ever, there were snow banks 15 feet high, So I was able to dive, like superman off my roof into the snow. That was a blast 🙂
Pricing:
- Our properties normally lease between $900 and $1,200 per month
- They will normally save $400 to $500 per month versus a brick home with the same square footage usually in better school districts
