Meet Imani of Faith’s Garden

Today we’d like to introduce you to Imani.

Hi Imani, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started in 2020 . I was preparing to go off to college to become a nurse, and I had a dream that I moved to Dallas and went to school for esthetics. I had no idea what an esthetician was nor how that was going to happen, but God did it! In August 2020, I moved to Dallas, TX. By September, I started esthetics school. I had pushed through and graduated by February. Now, originally, I desired to become a lash artist, however, as classes progressed, I became enamored with facials and brows. After certification, I officially started my business in home giving my family personalized facials while filming videos about skincare and overall health. A year later my mom was sitting next to a women at the nail salon who was looking for a brow artist for her hurst location and I became a benefit brow artist trainer and number one skincare seller for a year and a half. Then I moved to Nordstrom‘s in Stonebriar as an Anastasia brow, artist and that’s where my whole life changed. I met my husband got married opened up my Facial studio Faith’s garden and started my life in Frisco. That was exactly 2 years ago this past March, and now I am fully surrendered walking exactly in my purpose as a homemaker and a private holistic esthetician. Intentionally stewarding my home while showing up in my community and being authentic to doing community truly real life and praying for my sisters in Christ.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
These past six years have been far from a smooth road. I’ve had to grow, be stretched, and fully surrender. During this time, I gave my life to Christ, and there have been huge sacrifices made to produce in the capacity that I do now.

I’ve walked through emotional turmoil within family relationships, attended therapy, and experienced many seasons of consecration. Along the way, I’ve battled imposter syndrome, fear of failure, fear of being seen, and the challenge of starting over after financial hardships and job loss.

I’ve also had to learn how to properly steward my time, money, body, and emotions while communicating what I need in healthier ways. One of the biggest lessons has been learning how to rest and take breaks while still remaining consistent and showing up with intention.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Faith’s Garden is a holistic facial spa rooted in prayer. God has called me to create a safe place for my sisters in Christ to dwell, rest, and be restored. What began as a beauty service has become an altar in my home where every treatment nurtures the body, mind, and spirit.

My brand is centered around intentional skincare, holistic preservative-free professional products, and creating meaningful experiences that go beyond the surface. I specialize in facial massage, deeply hydrating the skin, and helping reduce hyperpigmentation through customized, education-driven care. Every service is tailored to support healthy skin from the inside out.

What sets my brand apart is the heart and atmosphere behind the experience. I believe skincare should not only produce visible results, but also provide a space where women feel seen, cared for, and safe to slow down. Through intentional touch, holistic practices, and a peaceful environment, I aim to help each client leave feeling restored physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Clients are welcomed with aromatherapy, tea or water, and an intentional conversation about where they are in their skincare journey — not only physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. I take time to have conversations with them every single time they come in because life changes and life moves quickly. The fact that my clients are choosing to be intentional about their time and taking care of themselves deserves to be celebrated, and I always try to highlight her experience at The Garden.

What I am most proud of brand-wise is the foundation it has been built on: faith, stewardship, and intentional restoration for those who are seeking it. What I want readers to know is that what they see is genuinely what they get. It’s truly a customized experience centered around what you need. I want every client leaving the table feeling lighter, refreshed, rested, and seeing real results within their skin — while also reframing the way they see themselves when they look in the mirror, knowing that they are beautiful.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I originally wanted to be a doctor. I watched a lot of Grey’s Anatomy with my mom and honestly, I still do to this day. Even at a young age, I was naturally nurturing and always wanted to explore all that life had to offer.

I remember being very social and outgoing. I was a true social butterfly who loved spending time with friends, going out, and building community. Some of my favorite memories from elementary school through high school were having Bible studies with my friends while also enjoying normal teenage experiences and life together.

It was in middle school that I really began embracing my natural hair after my aunt taught me how to care for and style it. That became a huge part of my identity at a very young age. Around that same time, I learned how to push myself physically through Couch to 5K, and that’s where my love for fitness and wellness first began. I fell in love with movement, going to the gym, and taking care of my body. Growing up, I also danced, & played lacrosse in high school, and was in band playing the trumpet from around fourth grade.

I’ve always had a love for beauty, wellness, and community. Since high school, I’ve loved brows, makeup, hair, and skincare. My mom and I would go to MAC together, and we still go to the same makeup artist to this day. We also regularly visited an esthetician for our brows, and I remember always having my brows done in photos.

More than anything, I knew early on that I was a caregiver. I’ve always loved helping people, creating safe spaces, and making others feel cared for. Because of some of my childhood experiences, I developed a different kind of strength and compassion that shaped the woman and esthetician I am today.
