Meet Jeremiah Woodard of Dallas-Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremiah Woodard.

Hi Jeremiah , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started getting into photography in high school. The inspiration came from my older brother, Tommy, whom is also a photographer. Recently, I took a long break from photography due to me haing doubts and depression. I’ve been slowly getting myself back into it and so far, everthing’s been good.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road at all for me. It’s had its fair share of ups and downs but I wouldn’t give this up for anything. For any beginning photographers, my advice would be just have fun.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a photographer. I shoot mostly photography and that’s what I’m mostly known for. I’m mostly proud of my most recent shoot I did for one of my family members. It was a graduation shoot. I think what sets me apart from others is I always experiment with different things. I don’t mind messing around with things.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I’m a pretty big nerd. I love video games, anime and different types of fandoms. My all time favorite movie is The Lord of the Rings trilogy. My dad and I used to watch that and the Matrix a lot when I was younger. Also, around that time, I watched a lot of Star Wars and Star Trek. But I rock with Star Wars more. Video games, I’ve played for as long as I can remember. My all time favorite game is Starfox 64 on the Nintendo 64. No explanation needed.
