Today we’d like to introduce you to Kalee Rodriguez.
Hi Kalee, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always been someone who loves bringing people together. What started as simply sharing my life online eventually grew into creating spaces where people could connect in real life.
I first began teaching Pilates because I fell in love with how movement could make people feel—not just physically stronger, but more confident. After a serious car accident in 2022 that left me with C1 and C2 fractures, movement became even more meaningful to me. It reminded me how much we can take our bodies for granted and completely shifted the way I approached wellness.
Over the past year, I’ve been fortunate to teach hundreds of classes throughout Dallas while also growing my online community, Keeks Collective, where I share fitness, travel, lifestyle, and everyday moments. That passion for community naturally expanded into event planning. Today, I work as the Events & Social Media Coordinator for Jungle and Temple, where I create wellness experiences that bring together local businesses, instructors, and our community in meaningful ways. From intimate pop-ups to large-scale events with local vendors, fitness classes, and networking opportunities, my goal is always to create experiences that leave people feeling inspired, connected, and supported.
Along the way, I’ve also realized that I’m passionate about helping people build routines they genuinely enjoy. Whether it’s through movement, travel, productivity, or sharing small habits that make everyday life feel a little more intentional, I love showing that wellness doesn’t have to be all or nothing. I believe consistency comes from creating a lifestyle you’re excited to wake up to, and that’s something I try to encourage through both my classes and my content.
Outside of work, I love documenting my travels, taking Pilates classes in different cities around the world, creating content, and supporting other local businesses. Looking back, none of this was part of some perfectly planned roadmap. Every opportunity has led to the next because I stayed curious, worked hard, and continued saying yes to things that aligned with who I am.
Today, I get to combine so many things I love—fitness, content creation, event planning, marketing, and building community—and I truly couldn’t be more grateful. My hope is that whether someone attends one of my classes, comes to an event, or simply follows along online, they leave feeling inspired to move their body, try something new, build meaningful relationships, and create a life they genuinely love.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I think one of the biggest challenges in the beginning was simply getting over the fear of what other people would think. Whether it was posting videos online, putting myself out there, or pursuing opportunities that felt outside of my comfort zone, there’s always that little voice asking, “What if people judge me?”
I’m so grateful I pushed past that fear because it completely changed my life. Putting myself out there has given me confidence I never knew I had, helped me discover who I am, introduced me to incredible people, and opened doors I never could have planned for. Some of my biggest career opportunities have come from simply being willing to share my passions online and say yes to new experiences.
Of course, there have been setbacks and moments of self-doubt along the way, but I’ve learned that growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone. Every challenge has taught me something and ultimately brought me closer to the life and career I’m building today.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you’ll never regret betting on yourself. The opinions that once felt so overwhelming matter far less than the opportunities you might miss if you let fear hold you back.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I wear a lot of hats, but they all revolve around one thing: creating meaningful experiences that bring people together.
I’m a Pilates instructor, content creator, and Events & Social Media Coordinator for Jungle and Temple in Dallas. On any given day, I might be teaching a class, planning a wellness event, coordinating with local businesses, creating marketing campaigns, filming content, or building partnerships within the community. I love that every day looks a little different.
What I specialize in most is building community. Whether it’s through a Pilates class, a wellness event, or a piece of content online, my goal is always to create spaces where people feel welcomed, inspired, and connected. I genuinely believe that some of the best opportunities and friendships come from simply showing up.
One of the things I’m most proud of is seeing ideas come to life. Watching an event that started as a brainstorm become a room full of people connecting, supporting local businesses, and trying something new is incredibly rewarding. Those moments remind me why I love what I do.
I also think what sets me apart is that I don’t just focus on one area of wellness. I love sharing movement, travel, routines, productivity, and everyday life because I believe wellness is about so much more than working out. It’s about creating a lifestyle that you’re excited to wake up to.
More than anything, I hope people know me as someone who genuinely cares about others. Whether someone takes one of my classes, attends an event, or follows me online, I want them to leave feeling inspired to move their body, build healthy habits, support their local community, and realize that they don’t have to have everything figured out to start chasing what they’re passionate about.
How do you think about happiness?
I’ve found that I’m happiest when I’m living with contentment. For me, that comes from leaning on the Lord, staying grounded in my faith, and appreciating the season I’m in instead of always looking ahead to the next milestone.
I love finding joy in the little things—my morning routine, moving my body, spending time with my husband, traveling, creating content, or simply slowing down enough to appreciate an ordinary day. I’m a big believer in “romanticizing” your life, not in a picture-perfect way, but by choosing to be present and recognizing that some of the best moments are the ones we experience every day.
Life moves fast, and there will always be another goal to chase. I’ve learned that true happiness isn’t found in constantly achieving more—it’s found in being grateful for what God has already given you while continuing to grow and pursue what you’re passionate about.
