Meet Kris Koffee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kris Koffee.

Kris, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I went natural about 12 years ago and at that time, there were only two products that were on the market. Sad to say neither of those products worked for my hair either one was too greasy and the other to light. Being frustrated, I created my own hair care line that would work with multiple textures of natural hair. The love of Natural Hair brought me into becoming a natural stylist and opening my own natural hair salon that caters to natural multicultural textures with products that work with every texture for every need. Finally, a natural hair care line created by a natural hair stylist.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Of course, with anything, there are obstacles and throw in being a single mompreneur and well that just gets even more interesting lol. I believe being passionate about something will push you pass your obstacles on your hard days and the sheer joy of doing what you love will let you ride the wave of good days. I struggled with learning curves about running a business, marketing, and proper systems. I have taken courses and read a ton of books to help me navigate through the obstacles. I haven’t been on this journey alone though I have an awesome team and one person I call my guardian angel on earth who makes the journey easier and helps to me to never give up on myself. My son and my passion are my why and I want my son to grow up knowing that he can truly do whatever he puts his mind to because he watched his mom do it so he knows its real lol.

I’m a Natural Stylist and Natural Hair Care Salon. We specialize in natural hair and textures of all types. We cater to all Men, Women, Boys, and Girls. I’m known for growing hair and catering to natural hair along with my product line that ACTUALLY WORKS! I’m proud to have a company that empowers, inspires, and uplift women and girls. It’s not just a salon its a place where you come in one way and leave being better than you came both physically and spiritually.

What were you like growing up?
I’ve always been an adventurous march by the beat of my own drum type of girl. I was always the one my family went to for hair and fashion but also the advocate for women and young girls.
