Meet Kristen and Michael Ariola of EuroCater

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristen and Michael Ariola.

Kristen and Michael, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Michael and I met when we were work-study students at our culinary school in Manhattan. After graduation, I went on to work at Chanterelle in Tribeca. At the same time Michael ran a private catering company in the New York City area. I continued to work as a private chef in Manhattan and after two years we decided to marry. Following the birth of our children we left New York and came home to Texas when we heard about a couple selling their catering business. In 2004, we purchased Eurocater and with that came an excellent client base and an amazing staff, most of whom still work with us today. We have been growing ever since. Some of our current clients are Amon Carter Museum, Moncrief Cancer Center, UT Southwestern and The Neely School of Business at TCU. We cater large corporate events as well as weddings, private parties, large charity events and celebrations throughout the Metroplex.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Initially our kitchen was located in Arlington. Eleven years ago, we moved it to Fort Worth. The move was a good one. We have grown as Fort Worth has grown. As we network and evolve, our menus and presentations have also developed. There have been challenges. Competition is always a factor. We always strive to keep ahead of the curve. We are constantly working to define the food trends and to offer creative and customized events.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about EuroCater – what should we know?
We listen to our clients and strive to create a unique event just for them. Our customer service is our hallmark as well as our presentation – and of course – our food. Every menu is specialized to the taste and budget of our customers.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Continuity. Hands on approach. Attention to detail. Teamwork. Respect for each other and for our clients.
