Today we’d like to introduce you to Logan Estrada.
Logan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Around 2010 my sister introduced me to EDM. I could not help but dive deep into the scene, listening to every artist ranging from Afrojack to Emalkay to Daft Punk. Once I turned 16, I graduated high school and started working full-time making pizza at a local pizzeria. I saved the majority of each paycheck for about seven months until I had enough money to buy my first controller, laptop, headphones and FL studio. I started to DJ and produce music, but focused more on DJing, which has paid off because it got me booked for shows within the Dallas area.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Every artist is different. Speaking for myself, I am extremely grateful to say that my road has been smoother than others. At the same time, it has not been easy either. Balancing college, work, music, and hardships with friends and family is never an easy task. My main struggle was graduating high school at 16 years old. Graduating at that young of age made me realize very quickly that the real world is and never will be easy. Whatever you want out of life you have to get it yourself and that’s exactly what I did. Since I graduated, I have been manifesting my own destiny and reaching out within the community to get booked for shows. I have also been creating a brand, teaching myself how to DJ, and producing my own music.
Please tell us more about your work. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
I am an up and coming DJ and Producer in Dallas, TX. I specialize in DJing and producing EDM. I am currently going to school to be an Audio Engineer, which will benefit my music production tremendously. Currently, I am known for my live sets which are filled with passion and energy that will get the entire venue dancing, headbanging and wild n’ out. Eventually, I will be well-known for my music. What sets me apart from others is my dedication to this scene, as well as the passion and drive I have to create a memorable experience for my audience and fans when they listen to my music or live sets. I also want to show the world that this is what I love to do and that I am willing to put in the time and effort to get to where I want to be.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My short-term goal is to get booked in all of Texas (Austin, San Antonio, Houston, El Paso, etc…). This year I plan to start releasing some original tunes, as well as build and promote my brand. In the next coming years, I plan to get booked around the U.S. and some parts of Canada, as well as release my debut album and expand my team.
