Hi Mia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always had a passion for beauty, which really started during my 10 years as a competitive cheerleader. Being in that environment made me fall in love with everything from skincare and beauty.
After high school, I attended the University of Oklahoma, but quickly realized that path wasn’t the right fit for me. I came back home and went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in General Business from the University of North Texas.
In early 2023, I attended aesthetics school and began working at a med spa. I loved the industry and the environment, but throughout that time I continued doing spray tanning on the side. Over time, I realized I wanted to turn that passion into something bigger.
In September 2025, I officially launched Soleil Society, where I specialize in luxury spray tans, lashes, and brows. What started as a side hustle has now become my full-time career, and I couldn’t be more excited about where it’s going.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the biggest obstacles for me was that where I grew up, the typical path was very much centered around going to college and following a more traditional career. There wasn’t as much visibility around careers in beauty or other vocational paths, so choosing something different felt a little outside the norm.
My journey ended up looking very different from a lot of my friends, and at times that felt a bit isolating. There were moments where it was hard not to question if I was making the right decision, especially when I didn’t see many people around me doing something similar.
On top of that, being young in this industry comes with its own challenges. I’ve had to work hard to build trust and show people that I’m not only passionate, but also skilled and professional. Over time, that consistency and dedication has really helped me grow and earn that trust.

My business, Soleil Society, is centered around creating a truly luxury experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Every detail is intentional. I want my clients to feel comfortable, taken care of, and confident in the results they’re getting.
I specialize in customized spray tans, lashes, and brows, and what really sets me apart is how personalized every service is. No two clients are the same, so I take the time to understand what each person wants and tailor everything to their skin tone, features, and overall goals. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach.
What I’m most proud of, brand-wise, is the level of care I bring to every single appointment. I genuinely care about my clients and their results. I’m not focused on rushing people in and out. I take my time, pay attention to the details, and make sure every client leaves feeling their absolute best.
At the end of the day, I want people to know that when they come to Soleil Society, they’re getting a high-end, personalized experience that’s built around them.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I think there’s always a small element of luck in any business, but for me, it’s been much more about consistency and hard work. I opened Soleil Society at 22 without an established clientele, which was definitely a risk and a bit of a leap of faith.
That said, I’ve put a lot of time and effort into making sure every single client has an amazing experience. My focus has really been on building trust and strong relationships, and because of that, my client retention has been incredible.
Looking back, these past few months have honestly exceeded anything I could have expected when I first started. It might look like luck from the outside, but it’s really been the result of showing up every day, staying committed, and truly caring about the people I work with.
