Today we’d like to introduce you to Nataskia Lee.
Hi Nataskia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story began with me awakening to the fact that I had a lot of emotional trauma to heal, and that, at the time, I truly didn’t love myself. On the inside or outside. I used make up to cover up…… a lot. I love the art of make up and I became very good at it, so much so that it became my career, but I used it as a mask literally and figuratively. After realizing this about myself along with coming to terms with my hormone imbalance and depression, I wondered how many other people are going through the same thing/feeling the same way. Who else feels uncomfortable in their own skin or feel like they have to hide or perform? I wanted to help others accept their skin/bodies as is. Love on who they are with out the cover up feeling necessary. To love themselves from the inside-out from a healthy place. I decided to become an Esthetician and Reiki Practitioner to help others heal there skin and there spirit through healthy natural skin and Reiki. I focus on self love, healing emotional trauma and maintaining healthy skin. I offer this through Reiki facials.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It was smooth understanding what I was being called to do, not as smooth trusting the process(at first lol). This is because seeing the vision and waiting to see if clients will see and appreciate it can be challenging and discouraging sometimes. When we think of a facial or skincare most don’t think of energy work, but it is. Everyone and everything has energy. I’m just using mine with intention to help others heal and feel better past the surface level.

You should know that I’m very intentional about the service, time, and energy that I put into each one of my sessions. My facials are centered around self love and emotional healing so that others can feel comfortable, confident, strong and empowered to be themselves authentically. I specialize in Reiki facials and taking care of skin holistically. I think what sets me apart from others is my desire to nurture. My sessions can run longer than a typically facial lol, I really take my time. Facial massage comes with every facial. I also do sculptural and lymphatic drainage facials as well! I still offer some beauty services as well such as lash lifts and brow laminations. I’m most proud of building a brand that I resonate with only a personal level and being able to have clients that aligned and find value in the services that I have to offer.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Not judging others and finding beauty in everyone. Everyone has something beautiful about them. I find that people need grace and love, not judgement and critics.
