Meet Olivia Craft of CraftedCurves by Liv

Today we’d like to introduce you to Olivia Craft.

Hi Olivia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Being an entrepreneur is something that I have wanted since I was a little girl. I would pretend to run my own tea shop and would even charge my grandparents to make and serve tea they had actually bought. They were my biggest motivators and pushed me to not only believe in myself but also to push myself to follow my dreams. I started working for myself four years ago when I opened my own dog training mobile service, it was not what I saw myself doing forever, but it was, and still is, a huge passion of mine. When COVID-19 hit, I had a decision to make, continue on a path that was draining me or change lanes and find a career that finally brought together two loves of mine: holistic wellness and body sculpting. Thus, CraftedCurves by Liv, my all-natural body sculpting business. When I look back on graduating high school 8 years ago, I never would have imagined myself where I am now, but I am so happy and grateful to be here.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would say the biggest struggles have been those that come along with the restrictions, and worry, which is the spread of COVID-19 or any other illness. I want all of my clients to feel safe and worry-free when coming in for treatment. Having started a business before I was not as intimidated by the process of getting my business plan together, but I was extremely nervous about not knowing the best way to market my services amid all of the competition in Dallas. This is something I believe I will struggle with for a few more weeks but I cannot keep myself from running full steam ahead.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I specialize in non-invasive and holistic body sculpting. I provide Wood Therapy, Ice Sculpting, and Vacuum Therapy for BBls.

Wood therapy is a vigorous massage technique that utilizes wooden, handheld tools. This can aid in the facilitation of weight loss and reduce cellulite. By allowing targeted pressure to be applied to certain areas, fat begins to break down and is naturally eliminated with other toxins. Ice sculpting is a holistic approach to fat-freezing weight loss.

Clay Ice sculpting reduces cellulite, tones and smoothes the skin, contours targeted areas, reduces scars, and activated the lymphatic drainage system. A clay mold infused with all-natural properties is infused with the body.

A Brazilian Butt Lift can be obtained by using vacuum therapy to help shape and lift areas with vacuum cups. Lymphatic drainage and the promotion of natural collagen are also added benefits of vacuum therapy. Some light bruising and redness can occur due to continuous suction but the process is painless and very effective.

Derived from ancient cupping techniques, this is a very modern practice meant to mimic “under the knife” surgeries such as BBL’s & breast augmentations. 100% non-invasive and requires no downtime.

30-minute BBl = 750 squats & 1 hr. BBL= 1500 squats

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
I have learned that communication and understanding are key. I underwent massive loss and life changes in the wake of COVID-19 as many others have, but I will not let it get in the way of my vision for the future, even if I have to tweak some plans along the way.
