Hi Otis, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m an ex con of 17 years. Once I got out I had good jobs in spite of my circumstances. But time was running out on building an actual legacy for my children and grand children. I started with just vegan ice cream. Unlike the others my brand was actually nutritious. With wholesome ingredients. That blew up quickly, I eventually relocated to Dallas where a restaurant space literally fell in my lap. Did know much about the restaurant business at all if anything. The opportunity however, was golden . I made it work.. it’s an amazing story.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Everything you can imagine.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’ve created a platform that allows me to hire youth . In this light I’m more than a boss . I get to redirect and challenge young people to think and grow big. I’ve had tremendous success. Few entrepreneurs. Under my belt already.
What matters most to you?
My people and the youth. I’m in what many would call the hood. There are literally no healthy options for the poor and disenfranchise. Until now.
