Meet Paul Adams of Bubbl Investments

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Adams.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Paul. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We really started the company with an idea generated by Alex and I just happened to be in a good spot to help us execute. We both are parents and to be honest schlepping the kids around was getting harder and harder for our families so there was naturally a lot in common. So in conjunction with our wives Pam and Liz, to include feedback from the community we saw an opportunity to service this parental logistics problem. We are often asked, “where did the name come from?”. We tell people that our Park Cities community is often referred to as the Bubbl and because we were going to use active and retired police officers as our drivers it naturally fell into place that we would wrap the kids in a Bubbl and get them from point A to point B safely and securely. So after very long nights, several glasses of wine and countless debates we felt like we had something that would positively resonate with the community.

We are looking back after a year in business and could not be more ecstatic. We have nearly 2000 registered customers and we have completed 11,000 rides in just 12 months. We have opened up 3 Bubbl’s in the Metroplex and we are now looking to expand to San Antonio, Austin, Houston and eventually outside of Texas. It’s a bit surreal to us but the thing that keeps us going is that we are making a difference in the community with the children we transport to include the elderly and those with special needs. We have morphed into a specialized transporter but we have also added a delivery service called Bubbl Dash that is taking off as well.

Alex and I have had our ups and downs in business and probably broken quite a few things along the way. Pam and Liz have been picking up the pieces and putting things back together for years. This time we think we got it right.

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s never smooth, there are too many hiccups to mention, but we overcome them as a team and look for constant opportunities to be better at what we do. 12 months ago, we were a different company and today we have become quite good at what we do with children, the elderly and special needs…….there is a long road ahead but we are on the right path and we continue to persevere. I often tell our team our biggest challenge is ourselves. We cannot confuse activity with results so it’s a constant push but we are having a lot of fun along the way.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Bubbl Investments – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We specialize in the transport of children over 8 years old, elderly and those with special needs. We have no competition but ourselves. We do what nobody else does and that works real well for us. We employ our drivers, we insure our cars, we use GPS in every vehicle, we use cameras in every vehicle, and we own our cars. The ride share industry is far different than Bubbl and we see a continual opportunity to stay different. One off the biggest differences, though, is we talk to our customers and do not rely on technology to do that for us. We know Mrs. Bates and little Mary and Mr. so and so and to us that is priceless.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
We love our city. Having grown up on the East Coast it’s a bit different then where I grew up but I could not think of a better business community to own and operate in. We are blessed with multiple resources and simply great people with tremendous skills that have helped guide our business. I’m not going to pick on Dallas I will leave that to others……I’m a big fan and very thankful for the place we call home.

• We charge $15 for an adult within our 5m service area and $17 for a kid.
• For an additional $5.00 we provide an escort for our passengers during drop off or pick up.
